Make sure to check out the stage 1 video where I walk you through lining your doors as well. Adding Soundskins throughout the cabin makes a huge difference, reducing road noise, tire hiss and rumble, and will make your sound system even better!
The install isn't hard, just takes some time and patience, and I will walk you through the new BMW M2 install.

Great video and
Guidance! Can't wait to hear your feedback on the difference.
Thank you! It's definitely worth doing.
great tutorial, but thats a super heavy m2 with the sunroof and all the materials you just installed
I hear the concern but at most it adds 30lbs. This isn't a stripped track car. It would be like never allowing a passenger due to weight, which who weighs a lot more than 30lbs
Did you happen to take decibel measurements in the cabin both before and after installation?
I absolutely did and the comparison video is out next week.
@@BMWDIYGuy amazing!! Looking forward to it!
Hello algo
Don’t you buy an M car to hear noise … and not to make it as quiete as a comfy 520i ?!
Good question and both yes and no. Tire hiss and rumble isn't great in any car, and this does a killer job in cutting that down. This also supports the stereo, factory but especially upgraded, with less background noise.
Engine and intake and exhaust noise, yes. Gravel and wind and road noise no.
