He's still at it, I just read; "Cocker himself serves up his best selection of moves during Sunrise. Throughout a spectacular wig-out mid-song, with guitarist Mark Webber in full effect, he manages a number of side lunges and twisted body shapes, and like some amphetamine-fuelled Marcel Marceau shooing away a flock of birds, several sequences of fluttery hand gestures." I listened to this the first time I took MDMA. It seemed to be made especially to maximise the pleasure of the experience. And it did. With absolute perfection. I could’ve exploded with joy at the crescendo. That was in 2003. It still takes me back to that when I hear it now.
pork and beans (Richard Hawley)) called that by his band mates as he luved that plate of food, but u wouldnt want to stand behind the lad when he started guffing, lots too, baked beans and pork sausage, usually 3-4 at a time
Ain't got words strong enough to say how amazing this song is.Completely underrated.Might be a classic.
I love how Jarv is so in the music in this, when he goes mad at the end he hits every drum beat with his movement. He's spectacular.
he dances with the intensity of a drop of water on a hot skillet it's amazing to watch

You've gotta love Jarvis' 'I cant dance but I'll do it anyway' attitude.

A stunning live version.... Utterly fantastic....
This will always be one of my favorite songs of all time, and it really helped me through a lot back in the day.

Most underrated song ever, alongside ‘late in the day’ by Supergrass and ‘dark therapy’ by Echobelly!

His frenetic dancing at the end reminds me a little of Bowie’s dancing to “Stay” on the Dinah Shore show.
... fuck me that was ethereal
Magnífica canción, ya 17 años escuchandola y podrán pasar 50
Y sigue vigente en composición y estructura musical son geniales y Jarvis es espectacular!!!

Range from pathetic
To piss-poor
But all that's gonna change
[Chorus]
Because here comes sunrise

When you've been awake all night long
And you feel like crashin' out at dawn
But you've been awake all night
So why should you crash out at dawn?
Thank you
