39:44 why didn't he just rip mordin out of the elevator and go up himself? Since Shep is so good at taking the choice out of people's hands in the name of being a paragon of justice.
Nothing is canon except Saren and the Geth, Shep getting resurrected by Cerberus and defeating the Collectors, and the Reaper invasion. If it involved direct player decision, it is not canon, no matter which direction the player chooses. This is per BioWare (though I am sorry, I cannot remember which article I read that stated that.) Rather, that becomes a part of the individual's 'head canon' for their own version of Shepard's story. That is a large part of what makes the series so great.
Ngl I kind of wish paragon!Shepard reversed the dialogue at 47:41. As in, "Legion is our best source of information on the geth. More importantly, Legion is my *friend.*"
In ME1 you can mix and match decisions as long as you have enough charm/intimidate points. In ME2 you can mix and match but not too much. Some dialogues require high Paragon/Renegade check and it can be hard too reach them if your score is too low. ME3 is way easier. You can mix and match as much as you want.
@@jaguar550 and MR X I know this is rather old, and MR X has probably done her or his play-through but, SPOILER FOLLOWS: You probably do not want to mix too much in ME2, as Jaguar550 mentioned, some of the dialogue options require very high on the Paragon/Renegade check. These checks do not require a specific number of points, like they do in ME1. Instead, they require a HIGH PERCENTAGE of the total possible Renegade/Paragon points that can be earned up to that point in the game. In some instances, if you fail the Paragon/Renegade check, you can (and probably will) lose a squad-mate's loyalty, which greatly lessens their chance of surviving the Suicide Mission. It sucks, I know. I've had to stop and re-start a couple play-throughs as I was failing too many of the checks, as I was Role-Playing a Shepard that was too midline. However, it CAN be done. WHat one needs to do is keep the majority of their decisions either Paragon or Renegade, while allowing themself the option of taking the occasional opposite choice. I did this on my Renegade FemShep. She was predominately Renegade, but I used the Paragon option in some few select instances. In another play-through, I went in the opposite direction; my BroShep was predominately Paragon, but went Renegade as the situation warranted. Someday, I will do a play-through where I care less about making sure all my ME2 squadmates survive and run my midline character, just to see what happens, and how everything works as a result in ME3.
Thats odd with the Aria interrupts. My paragon Omega mission she didn't kill him and just said Shepard must of rubbed off on her with no interrupt necessary.
There are a lot of different ways that finale plays out depending on how you go through the mission. From Shepard killing him, to Aria doing it, to Aria being stopped, or just deciding not to... Lots of different ways. In a full Paragon play, she doesn’t try to kill him.
@@ndbd9drn If you do not like the dog mech, there is a mod that will insert a varren in its place. I am not sure if the author was able to alter the letter or not. Still, I might get the mod someday, as I could see a few of my head canon characters having a varen instead of a dog mech.
This 23:06 is better then every other renegade interrupts combined. I was so happy when I saw Shep punching Zaeed 🤣 Man, they should have give the opportunity to let him die even before suicide mission, he's just a psychopath who even created the blue suns.
@@carterstrain9951 Wrong. They isolated themselves in their space and attacked anyone that entered, as well as shut down any attempts at communication from the other races. On top of that, some of them joined the reapers in attempting to wipe out all life in the galaxy, and guess what? The true geth allowed them to do it and never tried to warn anyone. Funny how everyone conveniently forgets that fact. If it was not for the Shepard, the geth would have wiped out all advanced life in the galaxy and both the true geth and the heretics would have been responsible for it. What's even more insulting is that idiot players blame the quarians for attacking the geth in ME3 (when in reality, it was only a minority that wanted to to go war), while saying that the true geth are not responsible for what the heretics did ( even though they are far more guilty of what the heretics did than the peaceful quarians are of what the warmongering ones did). To make matters worse, the Geth are still occupying Rannoch for absolutely no reason. Legion even says that the planet holds no value to them, and they know the quarians want it. So why not just give it to the quarians (who, it's established NEED the planet for their survival)? Instead they forced the quarians to attack them in order to get the planet back. In addition the geth cornered themselves on rannoch too. Why? There was no reason to. They created this problem. Let me get this straight; they were openly hostile to everyone, allowed a group of them to wage a war of genocide on the galaxy, continue to occupy your enemy's most valued planet despite it having no value to you.... and then you act surprised when they try to take it back? Remember no one even knows at this point that the geth are open to peace. The only interactions anyone has had with the geth for 300 years is with the heretics, and the true geth have done NOTHING to rectify that. They used Legion to contact Shepard and that was it. It amounted to nothing. What's even dumber is that in ME2 you have the PERFECT opportunity to end the war and achieve peace when you go to the migrant fleet. But no, nothing happens. More great writing from Bioware. But what's really bad here (that everyone conveniently ignores) is that this proves that the geth will side with the reapers if they think it means a better chance of their survival. This makes them a massive liability. What is to stop them from turning on everyone once the reapers start to win? This is also something Legion said they would never do, but apparently he's a liar.
@@Quole1234 members of other species joined the reapers. They also had to hack the majority of the geth to force them to work with the reapers. "The galaxy declared that the geth had no rights and we're to be destroyed on sight before they had a chance to defend themselves," Wrong. Not sure where you are getting your information from here. The geth were no believed to have been truly sapient, and creaing true AIs was forbidden for the very reasons the geth would prove later on. The quarians attempted to shut them off before they got to that point. Even after the quarians were driven from their homeworld the council races still tried to communicated with the geth but were met with hostility at every time. The geth became violent isolationists. "othing particularly wrong with the geth's actions compared to the other species." 100% false. The heretics joined the reapers. This wasn't like Saren. This was a massive portion of their race ha willingly joined the reapers because they saw them as gods. he rest of the geth ALLOWED them to do so, and didn't try to warn anyone.
Personally, I tend to prefer the Renegade interrupts; they are more badass, which makes the character (IMHO) more interesting. The Paragon interrupts, for the most part, make Shepard the iconic, albeit stereotypical, hero. That being said, I can't imagine how many times you needed to use the save game editor to collate all this, and the compilation is very good. Well done. PS: The Paragon interrupts with Shep's love interest work very well, in either situation.
Is anyone a little pissed off by the mass effect 3 ending even if you have max effective military strength then ending is annoying the secret ending I don’t like either because it shouldn’t be it’s impossible and the ending where Shepard always dies it pisses me off I just want Shepard to build tali a home and GODAMN RETIRE
The Paragon interrupts use the blue wing symbol and the Renegade interrupts use a red star. They are also on opposite sides of the bottom of the screen. This way, there are 3 visual cues.
@mike smith It's "a lot to remember"? Maybe if the attention span of a frozen carp. The cues are also literally just two colours - blue and red. If you can't keep track of something as simple as that, then you have bigger things in your life to worry about...
You can usually tell it's the repressesd homosexuals who have the biggest problem with it. :P People who are confident in their own sexuality (straight or not) usually don't need to put others down.
@@WolfhoundMercenary I don't think Shepard's character matches with this romance option. The only reason why it's in the game is because Bioware didn't want a shitstorm started by LGBT activists.
@panzer4391 True, the writers never wanted to include something like that. It was a point of political privilege. A shame. It would have made for an interesting lore moment if every romance was either straight or asari.

Paragon with a Mix of Renegade is my best Gameplay, there are times i need to be Good and i need some times to be a badass.
I remember I was packing cone during the Samara paragon interrupt and was shook, had to replay the whole mission again
"Shepard! I'm unarmed and I can give the alliance intel on the illusive man!"
"Yeah well... I don't like turncoats any more than I like the illusive man...."
What’s the Play with Javik and the casino sings with Kasumi and Garrus how do you get that to happen
6:08 You think your gonna run in s Spectre!? I think both of you should get out of here!
39:44 why didn't he just rip mordin out of the elevator and go up himself? Since Shep is so good at taking the choice out of people's hands in the name of being a paragon of justice.
I've never heard Garrus say "10 men are dead because of him!" And Shepard response too all I got was "he still has his life..." that's lame as fuck
When i played me3 on insane i gave garrus a black widow maxed that thing out he had armor pericing ammo he can 1 shot anything
Does the Paragon option with Sidonis still gain you Garrus’s loyalty?
Yup
Yes, so you can let Sidonis still live and Garrus will still be on your side all the way.
Garrus is best space bro. He'll always be be your side.
Lol hanar are hilarious
Do if you dont interrupt version
No one
absolutely no one
Me at 3AM: are there fat and ugly Asari?
No, they drown fat and ugly ones in their childhood.
So what's next after Mass Effect Trilogy?
Paragon ❤
Do you rescue david in mass effect 2?
What's that bot at 32:22?
KEI-9 dog mech. Its just Shepard's pet roaming the Shuttle bay. Only available in the N7 Collector's Edition Pack.
It also has a nickname "Sophie" by Engineer Donnely
I DIDNT EVEN KNOW YOU COULD ROMANCE CORTEZ
Tali dying isnt canon.
Garrus and Tali are Shepard's Best Friends
54:30 how did you reroute the power faster?.....might wanna try that one
You have to play as an engineer to get that option
good guy shepard
i feel bad for that kid who got scamed on omega, whoever sell that uh...gun(?) needs to be thrown to blackhole
Ngl I kind of wish paragon!Shepard reversed the dialogue at 47:41. As in, "Legion is our best source of information on the geth. More importantly, Legion is my *friend.*"
16:41 How does Sidonis not see Garrus there, especially wearing glowing armor? 😂😂🤦♀🤦♀
Hey Jaquar550 I gotta a question. I have plans playing mass effect soon . Is there possibly to mix paragon and renegade
Jaguar550 ohh I see thank you :)
I should go
Welcome to the IShouldGo Club, aka the Cult of Shepard xD
@@jaguar550 outside of Ending were a high level renegade / paragon check comes up which is not needed but nice to know
@@jaguar550 and MR X
I know this is rather old, and MR X has probably done her or his play-through but,
SPOILER FOLLOWS:
You probably do not want to mix too much in ME2, as Jaguar550 mentioned, some of the dialogue options require very high on the Paragon/Renegade check.
Someday, I will do a play-through where I care less about making sure all my
ME2 squadmates survive and run my midline character, just to see what happens, and how everything works as a result in ME3.
1:13:26 "I was born in London"
Shepard *sarcastically* "Really?"
Why did you do Renegade interrupts when this is all about "Paragon" interrupts?
El Goblino Shepard
Fucking love garrus
Thats odd with the Aria interrupts. My paragon Omega mission she didn't kill him and just said Shepard must of rubbed off on her with no interrupt necessary.
Same here. All paragon acts for Omega force Aria to be a bit more caring.
There are a lot of different ways that finale plays out depending on how you go through the mission. From Shepard killing him, to Aria doing it, to Aria being stopped, or just deciding not to... Lots of different ways. In a full Paragon play, she doesn’t try to kill him.
#accesstoenergy
"Quarantine still in effect"
*Cerebus is desperate*
*disagreed with your misconceptions*
34:53 a blue Karen
He killed tali?!
How long did this take?
Around 2 weeks. It could be allot faster if i didn't have a full time job.
Jaguar550 i know that feeling, i do voice over and sometimes have to meet deadlines while workin full time
Jaguar550 Good job, thanks for keeping this channel going
32:15 what was that?
A DLC robot dog. Personally I prefer Urz, but the little guy grew on me.
It's a FENRIS mech.
I was so happy when I saw Shep punching Zaeed 🤣
Man, they should have give the opportunity to let him die even before suicide mission, he's just a psychopath who even created the blue suns.
It's so weird to see the same face romance everybody man and woman/ alien lol
That 44:40 scene broke my heart even if it would have been right..... if there were only two options.
It wouldnt have been right. The Geth were always in the wrong.
@@Quole1234 no they were literally always in the right, they only defended themselves from being exterminated a right any individual or people have.
The galaxy declared that the geth had no rights and we're to be destroyed on sight before they had a chance to defend themselves, the geth reciprocated. Nothing particularly wrong with the geth's actions compared to the other species.
@@carterstrain9951 " members of other species joined the reapers. "
Sure, but that's different than YOUR ENTIRE RACE JOINING THEM. And when the heretics joined them, the rue geth allowed them to do it, and didn't warn anyone.
"They also had to hack the majority of the geth to force them to work with the reapers."
No they didn't. Not sure where you got that from. The Heretics saw the reapers as gods and worshipped them. The true geth joined them when the quarians attacked.
"The galaxy declared that the geth had no rights and we're to be destroyed on sight before they had a chance to defend themselves,"
Wrong.
"othing particularly wrong with the geth's actions compared to the other species."
100% false.
Well done.
PS: The Paragon interrupts with Shep's love interest work very well, in either situation.
sidonis deserved to die.
I'm sorry, but he died in M2. He just came back to finsh the fight. He knew there was no living through it for him.
Shepard survives if you destroy the Reapers with 4000 EMS, unless the Illusive Man shoots Anderson, then you need 5000.
The david scene is horrible tho
Paragon are those wing thing?
That's a lot of bullcrap to remember specially if they come out or they don't.
The Paragon interrupts use the blue wing symbol and the Renegade interrupts use a red star. They are also on opposite sides of the bottom of the screen. This way, there are 3 visual cues.
Lot my ass. As compared to what? It's another cue that's been there from the beginning.
@mike smith
It's "a lot to remember"? Maybe if the attention span of a frozen carp. The cues are also literally just two colours - blue and red. If you can't keep track of something as simple as that, then you have bigger things in your life to worry about...
@@WolfhoundMercenary Tell your boyfriend Bill Cosby says hello.dumbass and stop playing with your joystick, it smell like ass dumbass.
44:00. Please help me unsee that.
Why? It was sweet and a valid part of the romance with Steve.
😂
You can usually tell it's the repressesd homosexuals who have the biggest problem with it. :P People who are confident in their own sexuality (straight or not) usually don't need to put others down.
@@WolfhoundMercenary I don't think Shepard's character matches with this romance option. The only reason why it's in the game is because Bioware didn't want a shitstorm started by LGBT activists.
@panzer4391 True, the writers never wanted to include something like that. It was a point of political privilege.
A shame. It would have made for an interesting lore moment if every romance was either straight or asari.
