Oliveo 1 - Verburch 1, 2nd Class D competition video report of the very exciting match in Pijnacker!
It was once again a match full of incredible action. Unfortunately for Bob, a very unfortunate fall resulted in an almost half-hour interruption of the game, requiring an ambulance to come and examine his knee. (Fortunately, everything is fine with Bob, considering the circumstances.) However, this incident motivated Oliveo to a 1-0 lead with a beautiful goal from Jefferey.
To the dressing rooms for halftime. The second half started poorly for Oliveo; perhaps there was some bad luck here and there. But suddenly, it was 1-3 in the 58th minute through some goals with beautiful finishes. Oliveo showed passion and started to fight in every duel, and it paid off. And how!
Literally in injury time, it became 1-3, Verburch received two red cards in as many minutes, and Oliveo scored two goals! First, Nick with a beautiful corner kick, skillfully kicked with a backward motion in the air! And last but not least, a penalty for a handball, well seen by the referee and beautifully shot under a lot of stress by Stefan.

What a comeback. CION also played a draw, so it's a shame that Oliveo let two points slip, but oh well, we're making a comeback. The men under the leadership of Willem van der Smit are still undefeated in this second-tier competition in South Holland, West II!
