Hello my amazing viewers and thank you so much for listening to this incredible performance with me! I wanted to share with you some amazing background information related to this composition. This song was performed by Dimash Kudaibergen, Aida Garifullina, and Lara Fabian, at the special celebration dedicated to a prominent Russian composer and songwriter Igor Krutoy at the ВТБ АРЕНА ДИНАМО, in Moscow, Russia on January 16, 2020. Ti Amo Cosi was composed by Igor Krutoi in collaboration with Lara Fabian over the course of ten years and tailored specifically to fit her vocals. She originally performed it with late Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava at the New Wave festival in 2016 as well as with Sumi Jo and Dmitri Hvorostovsky at the Jubilee evening of Igor Krutoy, at the State Kremlin Palace on November 15, 2014. I have also included the English translation of the lyrics from Italian below:

Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event:
• Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed
• This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with”
• This also explains why the song does not exposes more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton.
• Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable
• Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently.
• It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, …): look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it …
• Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 5 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man
• Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara
• Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀
• I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers.
• Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash

This performance was to honor Igor Krutoy's Birthday. I love how quickly Dimash changes his voice to match Lara's and Aida's style of singing.
Yes, this was such an incredible tribute to the music of Igor Krutoy! Dimash is a very humble individual, despite his stardom, and not only showed the outmost respect to Aida and Lara, but also the late Dmitry Hvorostovsky who was a classic baritone!

Elena, thank you for a wonderful presentation of this video of the three superstars. I have seen it many, many times and will continue to do so many more. I'd like to pass onto you a couple of notes associated with the performance. First of all, Lara was ill and there was thought she might not be able to perform. But she got herself well enough to perform because there was no way she would miss this opportunity to perform with Dimash and Aida in tribute to Igor. Secondly, there is a moment which was cut out of the official video (however it can be seen on some fan video's of the event). After Dimash and Aida do the opening segment Dimash turns toward Lara and they get close together and look at each other. Dimash has a look on his face which expresses a deep love he has for her, so much so, someone (?) thought it was "too strong" a look and it was taken out of the video. Elena, it was something that could get by a listener watching the video for the the first time but after more viewing of it, the moment becomes an umistakably emotional brief episode so very beautiful. Of course, people who understood Dimash was very fond of Lara understood 'the look'. As a young man he marveled at how Lara was able to incorporate so much emotion into her performances with her voice and her body movements. They became friends (both have been associated with Igor) and continue their strong friendship to this day. Elena, one last thing. There is a video of Lara calling Dimash on the telephone to sing "Happy Birthday" to him. Stirring moment. I don't have the link but perhaps you can find it.

Dmash is classical educated opera singer,he sing pure lyrix bariton,he can sing in every register,his voice range is 7.2 octave,and he can sing male and female register,bas,bariton,tenor,alto,mezzo-soprano,soprano,Aida sing only opera,and Dimash sing mixed opera and pop,because of that everyone forget to say that he is opera singer

@@reactwithelena As you probably already know, Dimash is not an opera singer. He has never performed in an opera. He's classically trained and got a job offer from the Astana opera, but he turned it down to pursue contemporary music mixed with classical.
