👏👏👏👏👏 amen sister!! When someone wants a child, they dont care what that child looks like. They just want someone to love and care for. (Most of the time) There are sick ppl out there that adopt so they can abuse but for the most part ppl adopt children so they can love them and give them what they need.
There are also other factors involved to. We must look at how many “adoptions “ were legal vs illegal. We’ve seen stories of Black kids being taken from their parents just because they refused to go to a certain pediatrician or some neighbor called the cops on them for whatever reason. We also see Black people who want to adopt go through so many hurdles to be parents while others do not go through that same process. We’ve seen kids get trafficked and end up in illegal adoptions as well. I understand the young lady’s frustration because it seems like it’s a main group of people who are adopting other races of children. But, to the first man’s attack of why there are so many Black kids to adopt is rooted in bigotry with a hint of racism.
