Best game ever. The panzer shot from Drago on frostbite is still the best shot I've seen in a fps

Arent same is softly put.Truth is their fucking shit, console based pieces of crap with no intentional focus on multiplayer ported to PC.
I honestly loved Wolf: The New Order and Wolf: The Old Blood as single player games, but you're right, we needed an ET style multiplayer and we never got it.

Played this a lot during 2003-2005 with my own clan. 2004 was it's prime, Clanbase was red hot with ET wars. Great time for online gaming, lots of fun!

This and Quake 3 Arena Instagib were my first online.
Made me love FPS beyond original Doom 1-2/Quake 1-2 ,Wolf 3d and Shadow Warrior, Duke 3D,Blood,Hexen, and Heretic. I mean Sin,Oni, and many other games came out which were great in their own rights. But damn, when I built my first PC just for RTCW,it was the *Baby, it's time* moment . Unreal Tournament couldn't beat ET for me, though it was fun from time to time and I played with my cousin in NY.
One thing though is when you boot up Turok 2 and hear the port music , you instantly become a kid holding an n64 controller.
Graphics don't matter as much when the gameplay is ROCK solid.
This games NEEDS to be remade, it was fucking epic
dirty bomb is made by the same devs, similar obj based gameplay with classes

This was probably the first non-Sci-Fi shooter I played when I was young(er). (Excluding Counter Strike) It somehow managed to combine fast-paced action and military themes WITHOUT being too overly realistic.
Wolfenstein: ET, Quake III: Arena, Counter Strike 1.6, Unreal Tournament 99, and Starsiege: Tribes. Those were my first five FPS games. (not in order) I would get every last one of them again if I had the chance.

Its not in this vid..but Matias sniping on Frostbite was legenday as well. Those panzer shots from Drago and Special were awesome. Still playing ET daily 20 years later...tried other FPS games but always dissapointed. I think the focus on teamplay in ET is what makes it fun.

True,its GamTrack in intro,they are using timecycle(in cfg,it saves game) and Quake movie cfg.All effects are done with Abobe After.

I used to play this all the time.. but the community changed in a bad way, and i switched over to CS 1.6, Wish i could play this once again with the old players to relive those memories :D

I've made a mistake, it was CamTrace3D created by Smireboule.
You can only use it on ETPro versions and ET 2.6b. No exceptions possible unless you modify the code.
I cannot provide any help further according to the software, as I tried myself and come to a back failure.
