St Georges South wow, love it...very traditional resort nothing too lively but lots of great walks, bars, rest etc... I absolutely loved it... Been several times most recent 2014. Highly recommend Seagul rest, staff fab, food is just brill, traditional and excellent style true greek cuisine...probably the best place to eat in the resort. We stayed in their apartment above the rest... never had any complaints at any of the very varied eateries some are overlooking the beach views fab... Visit the old village above the resort well worth a visit and Do the boat trip to Paxos also brill, loved the quaintness of the small Island and the boat trip is with Capt Kostas really nice guy with his sons its a must trip...I could ramble for ever about this charming place. DO GO SELF CATERING THOUGH AND HELP THE LOCALS TO MAINTAIN A GREAT LITTLE RESORT...
Stayed in St George's South just before the big hotel was being built , the Golden Sands I think it was? We stayed at Alexander beach hotel they hadn't got a pool back then but think they have now. Is mad mikes still there ? Will go back some day xx
Been to this resort many times luv the place Always do self catering and use the local Restaurants they will appreciate your custom and Make you feel very welcome. Wouldn't touch the all inclusive at end of Resort with a barge poll should never have been built In a resort like this.
