Our Triplets Gender Cake Reveal!

- My wife is 18 weeks pregnant with triplets (our first kids) and we finally got to find out what gender the babies were. Fun times ahead!

**29th week update (10/17/13): The babies are all weighing in over 3 lbs each (90th percentile in weight), and momma is doing great! We have been told that the average pregnancy for triplets is 32-34 weeks, so my wife says her goal is 36 weeks, lol. We're just in wait and see mode right now. Thanks for all of the great wishes!

5Rulle5 Believe it or not, the friend that knew the genders, made the cakes (and they were the first cakes she ever made!). But yes, they were tasty.
Thomas, Andrew and Madison were born at 35w 1d, on Black Friday. They were our "hope for 1 get 2 free deal"! When I find time, I'll make a video collage of all the pics from the hospital stay so far. These kids are amazing! :)
Congrats!! That's so awesome! Im currently pregnant with my 3rd. i wish my body could have been awesome and got pregnant with triplets when i was pregnant with my son then i'd be all done now. LOL :D

I'm a boy and I was born first then brother was born second, and then my sister born third. We were born the same gender sequence like your triplets!!!!

congrats! My hubby and I have been trying to have a baby for a year now. But i got a positive on my ovulation test on the 17th so were keeping our fingers crossed =]

Thanks Sophia. I was with Mom on hoping baby C would be a girl as well. We actually wanted 2 boys and 1 girl eventually -- we just didn't expect it to all happen at once! LOL
congrats ! all children are a blessing but its always fun on having a mixture of genders especially when your planning on just these 3 (i dont blame u lol) but i was totally with the mom ..pleasee baby c be a girl ..mommy needs a shopping patner ! ...hope for safe delivery and 3 healthy babies !

Shock, yes. But we are very excited to be future parents... I'm sure I can come up with another video post-pregnancy. I doubt they will let me bring my GoPro camera into the delivery room though ;).

LOL, my bad... Well they are almost 11 months old now. And my daughter just waved to me when I was leaving for work and said "bye bye dada". It was pretty amazing :).
Very cute... And eleven months? U ready for that first birthday?:) I posted my gender reveal last month... I did a jello reveal and poured jello over my kids heads:)

Thank you. They are 3.5 months already (time flies!) and they are such well behaved kids. Most nights they sleep 8 hrs. They are also starting to laugh and want to be a part of what we are doing each day rather than sleeping all day. This is where is gets fun :).

Yep, they are 12 days old :). I don't think we'll have time for daily vlogs or anything. But I'm currently trying to find time to mash together some pics and video clips.

Awesome! Their names are Thomas, Madison and Andrew. They just hit the 1 month old mark today and are all the way up to 7 lbs each! We are some happy parents :).

She is the "youngest" by 30 seconds.
Only a gamer would think of "Mario, Luigi, and Peach" lol. Congrats on all 3 and I hope they have all 10 fingers and toes (or in the collective sense, 30. lol). I have to say, I also had my fingers crossed for baby C being a girl. Too much testosterone otherwise. lol.

I looked at the video of the triplets at five months - adorable! Congratulations on having healthy, happy babies.
But when i see videos like this, I have to wonder why events like proposals, weddings, pregnancy announcements, revealing gender of babies, etc., has to be a huge, dramatic production. No criticism - everyone should do those things however they want to. I guess this is just a general question - can we not enjoy major life events anymore unless they are made into a form of entertainment?
That's a good question. I guess since we are both event coordinators, we live for events like this. And so many friends/family wanted to be a part of our big announcement (we didn't even know the genders until we cut the cakes), we decided to document it. Now we can always look back on our reactions to finding out the genders. It's also fun to put on CZcams because not everyone gets to experience this and we enjoy sharing our experience.
ScreaminSeahawk Thanks for that thoughtful answer. I hadn't realized that you would be finding out the sexes of your babies this way. That would make it more fun. Congrats again on your lovely family.

Haha, I don't think we'll have the time for that. But thanks for the idea. I definitely plan on adding some videos once the kids are born. Possible C-section at 35.5 weeks on 12/2! :)
Thanks for the kind words Anna. At first I just wanted a boy in there somewhere to be able to pass my last name on. But after two babies, I could see the fear on my wife's face (LOL) and we were both very happy that Baby C turned out to be a girl. 25 weeks down -- getting there! :)
