As that'll blind us from seeing each other as potential husband and wife. I never understood it at first, but now I see- this is his way of avoiding over-familiarity. May God have mercy on us. This lesson goes across all relationships, at every level. One of my mentors said to me 'S'them when a person coms into your life. There's a reason for it. Before getting familiar with yourselves, obtain grace to enquire of the Lord. Whats the purpose of this relationship? How do I service it? Pray for grace to discern when the window period for that relationship(s) has closed? And never get to familiar with anyone at all! These words of wisdom came to me, after I had abused & misused alot of opportunities and relationships. I thank God, I'm wiser than my yesterday self & honestly thankful to God. HE taught me, to value people & opportunities.
