Never had a problem with any IMS tanks I have had. The mounting brackets seem a little cheesy but work, and have never let me down. Great having the extra fuel capacity.
Is there any tank bigger than 2.6g for a 2017 RM-Z450? For some reason there seems to be a limited amount of options for that year. Or is it just that 2017 is included in anything 2008 to 2018? I would really like to find something over 2.6g. Thanks

Problem is for 07 ktm the ims tank is 2.9 gallons and stock is 2.4 not much more i think ill keep the stock tank its not worth it for me clarke has a 3.1 but read some bad reviews about leaking petcock mount location and apparently acerbis has a 6.6 but its a monster. I wish someone made a 3.5 or 4.
Are these Tanks DOT rated?? Are they legal for Enduro Bikes??

IMS has made tanks for years, and they still SUCK at it!! Unbelieveable. IMS has forgotten to add hardware to my sale,. . .hardware that is absolutely necessary. . . so be prepared to make your own spacers and offsets, etc. You'd think that after all of these years, they'd have it totally nailed. Nope. Second one on 2 different bikes over several years. . .same result. Doesn't fit, and missing parts. And instructions are wrong, of course! It's like they just don't even try. . . .
