It’s like when your playing a horror game and you know you messed up, and see through the closet door or what ever you’re hiding it the thing chasing you run closer to you so the only thing to do it wait. One can only imagine how terrifying it was for citizens to hear the ominous scream of the Jericho Trumpet.
I'm only 22 but feel as though I remember these noises and feared them.
