Steven Furtick received a Bachelor of Arts in communications, he knows what a gimmick is and he knows who to sell a 'product'. Jesus is not a brand, and shouldn't been worn as one.
The pride of this man is not representative of what a godly Pastor should modeling for his sheep. He's no Shepard.

ALL a bunch of evil hypocrites!
So what I am hearing is because he's not suffering and hes gaining money off of the books that he sells he is evil?
I don't even know the man but this is so messed up how many people are collaboratively coming together to find something to demonise this man for because he good at what he does.
Also, shouldn't be in invasion of privacy that ask for people's account information because you don't think they should have the money that they have? Why be mad that you don't know how much money is going in-and-out of Stephen's pocket or the church? It's not your business! If some stranger off the street ask you to look in your wallet and show him your Cheque book so we could see how your spending your money would you give that stranger your wallet? NO!
I would like to see them put the same energy into the top 1% of the world that are systematiclly robbing people for only the purpose of their own personal gain and without giving ANYTHING back. They don't do that though because those people have so much money they could destroy these people and take their jobs without even being seen.
    Where is that same energy?
These religious men that claim to be Christian know good and well that if they had the same support they would not complain. They don't look like their suffering for Christ sitting in their middle class homes toasting to their friends and the other one behind his nice cosy little homemade office. How come they didn't tell us how much their homes cost? How much are their assets while they talking about this other pastor? Being poor in suffering does not mean that your holy! Next thing you know they will be saying Joseph, David and Solomon were evil because they were kings and high ranking officials. The Bible calls them men of God and they had money. Plus people gave them gifts to show graciousness. They were rich; however, they were obviously labelled men of God in The Bible alongside people like the disciples that did not have a whole Kingdom of followers. Also, suffering extends outside of being poor or rich. Read The Bible yourself if you want to compare.🤷🏾‍♀️
This is shameful prejudiced persecution against men of God that they do not want to be successful. They need to focus on their day job. In the so called religious men need to repent their hypocrisy. This is just sad!
P.S. Ask the top 1% how much there getting taxed? This man is not even close to being as riche as them however your mad because his churches aren't being taxed? Lol

The issue is he's making money off a platform that by his very outward belief calls this behavior out. This isn't an oil tycoon openly flaunting their cash. This is a pastor living in luxury off of money he made through his platform his church has given him. A church that allegedly has its roots in the teachings of Jesus who Christians believe is God incarnate. And he was clearly very against using the church as a place to make money, and for his people to elevate themselves above others.

Yep, that's what Jesus said. He and His deciples paid their share. I know of Christians that were getting paid cash and not reporting it or paying taxes. We had a lady cleaning a church my husband pastored. When she found out she had to pay taxes on what the church paid her, she wasn't to happy. So, my husband try to lovingly tell her the scriptures and that Christians should pay taxes, she got mad and left the church. God wrote the rules, not us. But she still didn't want to pay the taxes. The church was not a 501C3 church. The many churches out there who are 501C3 tax exempt, will one day lose it because of how they are abusing their privilege. At least some are abusing, but will cause all churches to lose it.

All pastoral staff positions has to be voted on by the membership. All Deacons are voted in by the membership. The annual budget is printed for everyone to see, before it's voted on. Including payroll budget. Our church goes above and beyond to be fully transparent, hiding nothing.

I can’t or won’t judge only God can. I would like for my own ministry to be used by God foremost to point those in need of a savior to Jesus Christ and His soon coming. Secondly, I would like to establish a service to meet their needs from life challenges, based on Biblical principles. And it takes money!! In other words, ministries take money to take care of the flock and in my opinion if the flock isn’t being taken care of, that’s the bigger issue. My prayer for this situation is God’s will be done, who is fair and just to all. Blessings

Yes, Christians can judge. If you don't make judgements on people in the body of Christ that are not Biblical, then you will be deceived. One day we will judge the wicked according to the Bible. There are people doing wicked things in the churches and they should be judged and held accountable. Pastors have no accountability, politians have no accountability, criminals have no accountability, children have no accountability, and we wonder what is happening to our country? The Bible says, Judgement begins in the house of God. The mantra of the lukewarm Christian and church is, I can't judge! Well, what are you going to do on the day you set with Jesus to judge the wicked?

I think people need to be more concerned with their own house of cards instead of someone else's, in this case Pastor Furtick's. I will guarantee everyone has shaky foundational cards in their personal and family lives but because everyone is so enthralled in trying to correct someone else's house of cards because of jealousy their own house of cards fall on them. Ever stop to think to kick out that sin of jealousy and just maybe God might open up that door of blessing on your life, something is always blocking that door but everyone gets mad and jealous at somebody else when that person turns things over to the Lord and then the Lord turns beauty from ashes. Don't you all know that the Lord wants the same in your life too? Just a thought not a sermon.

No one jealous of Steven. No pastor or supposed man of God needs or deserves a 16 million dollar home, it’s excessive and greedy, especially when there are homeless and needy people dying every day due to food insecurity.
Don’t you remember someone writing letters to a few different churches warning them to test teachings? What makes you think Steven is above reproach?
Furthermore, if a man is preaching and leading people, he deserves to be investigated and scrutinized, if there is nothing to hide there should be no issue with it. Elevation is nothing but an emotionally driven cult made to worship mamon and elevate Steven’s vision rather than God’s. The church is spiritually dead and completely ineffective in the world because God’s people continue to allow wolves and sheep’s clothing to infiltrate the church and keep them in a state of complacency. There is no real worship, prayer or deliverance occurring and people are being lead to hell daily because of superficial ministries like this.

If we are biblical the only judge is GOD not us! If being apart of the church blesses you and you choose to exercise the principle of tithing that’s a personal choice and God will recognise and bless that act on a personal basis. The bible doesn’t say Christian’s have to be poor he blessed many people of God with wealth. If any Pastor has bad intentions that’s a matter of the heart, God sees what people don’t, the heart that’s y only God can judge. I personally feel if I speak against a religious leader I will have to answer to God about that, and I rather not put myself in that position. Do Pastors have to answer to us or God? Are Pastors humans too? Don’t they make mistakes and only those without sin themselves should cast the first stone. Abusing your position as a leader comes with more repercussions than us, so if we have faith in God should we not leave it to God and not try to dethrone God by taking his rightful place to judge.

This is the problem with churches like this that decevie people into thinking that fruits are how associated with money by using God as some sort of personal bank. But they choose to preach ear-tickling sermons, won't call sin by it's name, won't preach against homosexual abomination, won't preach on hell, damnation and wickedness because they will offend and lose members and thereby the money flow will become a trickle. There are doctors here in New Mexico with 2 million dollar houses. I dont get it. Most pastors I know have people staying over. traveling through and often meetings etc. YEs there are celebrity pastors, but all large churches are not created equal. I could do all that but you won't hear any of it because you've already made up your closed mind. He's calling a VERY LOST, WARPED generation to a life of morality, service, and get-your-act-together behavior. Yeah, what an awful guy. If he can pull that off, with God's help, I say he's worth every penny and more. The world around us, our own country, is going down the toilet, he's trying to make a difference, and all the naysayers can pull from it is....MONEY ISSUES. Figures. Well, news flash, he won't ever stop. He will fight. I wont ever stop. I will fight. People I've never even met yet at Elevation bc of my condition, but I know they wont stop. They will fight. So carry on, sir, carry on. Because that's what you're doing - carrying on. One more thing, all us kool aid drinking sheep know he's pulling in some cash. We still give. Because we believe in his mission to fulfill God's mission. I encourage you to attend one service and then REPLY. If you can't at least do that before coming back at me, then don't bother because you can make no point if you only see and hear one side of a story from an "investigative reporter" looking for his next story, a breaking story, that just might save his years-long career or maybe get him some gig attention himself.

Maybe a therapist would be a better fit for you rather than stalking me around YT land trying to “make your point”. Bizarre behavior to say the least. You have definitely confirmed all my suspicions about you. Which is why I chose to stop my interactions with you. A very clear case of “It’s not me…. It’s you!”

@@alexquintana1031 Just look at your reply to me. Very strange. “THERE YOU ARE” in all caps, displaying a very real and misplaced excitement over finding me again to continue your endless chatter. Then you actually believe I deleted my comments…..why….because of something you said? Seriously? What, you made me see the proverbial light here, or you so overwhelmed me with truth that I had to rethink my life or something? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤣. I literally laughed out loud when I read that.
Delusional, grandiose and narcissistic tendencies on full display. That’s WHY I deleted my previous comments. To avoid an endless, tiring, boring, back and forth with a delusional narcissist willing to “stalk” people just to continue making their point.
See I made my points, then deleted them because I’m not interested in THIS……..this, is nonsense and a colossal waste of my time and energy and frankly it’s a bunch of bullshit. If you must “debate” people, join a club, if you need to tell someone you’re inner thoughts, get a therapist, if you’re just a mental case who can’t shut up because he’s full of self importance then again, get therapy. Either way or anyway do whatever, but do me this solid and go stalk someone who cares.

Yet no one has a problem with the sinner's profitting and building multi million dollar homes. Pastor Steven has worked hard in his life not only worked but worked to glorify God. As Christians we are to love that is all. So do not recite the word without obeying the whole word. Those who condemn are the ones who have fooled themselves. Those who are not Christian, we pray for and love them to Christ. If we spent more time focused on the will of God, we wouldnt have time to focus on condemning the world. Choose your mountains wisely friends.

Really just goes to show, human nature . Just cause he is now blessed beyond believe. Our God Jesus blessed him and the Bible says you will reap what you saw, he is now reaping his blessings, so a Pastor has to be broke and suffer just because he is a follower? No No No come on people , stop being judgmental. Rather turn to Jesus, read your Bible and open your spiritual eyes so that the Holy spirit can Guide you and our Father in Heaven can Bless you the same.

26:16 it saddens me to see what the church is becoming? Not organized religion has historically always struggled? Humble Christian beginnings? Where was that at? Maybe lower ranking celergy men but women Dont not need applie and where does the pope live again? Where and who did the vikings target on their raids for riches and gold? Oh the humble Christian church. Jesus was super humble but my guy was Jewish so... I was raised calothic and I am a spiritual person but organized religion has always had these issues amoung others. My main.man J said turn that stone and their I am, we don't need all the big fancy building and propaganda to practice the word and get together to help others we do need a leader but unfortunately no one is Jesus and the light you seek can blind you if you are not held accountable. Great clip and reporting!

***** The facts are right there. Furtuck also lied his ass off to his congregation, stating that he bought the house from his book sales. That's a load of horse shit. First of all, he bought the house from his outrageous salary and his housing parsonage. Second, his book sales are not that high. He did what Mark Driscoll did - hired a marketing company to manipulate the sales by promoting the book to be sold during the course of one week through bulk purchases to churches and other crappy deals to get him on the NYT Best Seller List for a whopping one week, only to drop off right after.
These pastors are frauds. Paul warned about ear ticklers. Well, cast your eyes.

39 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us.(C) 41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.(D)

      I get your point against a hostile attitude. But just in case any reads this and does care to be saved;
Matt 7 21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Furtick preachers false doctrine. He calls himself God. I heard him say, "I am God". He's misled and misleading others. Anyone that has to live in a mansion on ministry money, is all about money. He's just like the prosperity teachers. TD Jake's, his mentor, Joyce Myer, and others. I'm not trying to find fault, but this is not Biblical.
