This is a very fun remake of this song. Everyone sounded great as usual. Glad they kept in Rob's whistling. But I will always love the original video the best. I think the words & visuals fit it much better. But I can understand that they wanted to change it up a bit in the new version. Still a lot of fun.
It's a Tim Foust original. This and one other video are to finish their Crazy(er) Life album. That was the last album Austin made with them. Going forward, Bastien will be with them.
Tim wrote this some years back and it’s on his solo country album from 2010. Home Free did it 10 years ago, with a video, then recorded recently for latest album. There is quite a story behind him writing it. Today Home Free released the last video with Austin on it, Crazy Life. Thanks for the reactions! This was a fun one.

It's a Tim original (although written before he joined Home Free), so it technically could be counted as a cover. Back then he had a job as a songwriter when his boss told him to write exclusively country music, unfortunately it was durign a time where he didn't want to have anything to do with country music. As a result he went home, got drunk and wrote this in 30 minutes in an attempt to discourage his boss. To this day this song (in their older version) is the most watched original of theirs.
Austin will be at least in one more video (Crazy Life, which they released yesterday). If there will be more is not known. But the first video with Bastien is already been filmed and probably in the editing process right now. For which song and when it will be released is unknown as well.
The video-wife is not a wife of one of the guys (maybe a friend? I don't know), which is probably a good thing because video-wife is quite mean.
This video had me cracking up just as much as the first one.

Tim wrote it. Funny story about it is that years ago his boss wanted him to write a country song and Tim didn’t want to but the boss insisted. So Tim came home, got drunk and wrote this in one night. There’s an older version of it that fits the lyrics better than the new one but this is fun. That woman must be an actress since none of their wives are in this one. If you want to see Tim’s wife, she’s in Crazy Life (new version) in pink. Also the best view of Tim’s wife Jenika is in the video Die a Happy Man, it recreates their engagement. Good one Kaireem!
