Can I ask about the stripe binding? Do you only use fabric where the stripes run parallel with the selvage so you cut selvage to selvage? would you ever use a fabric where the strip runs perpendicular to the selvage or at a diagonal?
Hello! I usually use stripes that parallel to the selvedge so it has that horizontal stripe look. I have absolutely used diagonal stripes and LOVE them. You can use perpendicular though it would look like long lines running across and would not have a striped look. It would also be very hard to ensure the stripes are the same through the quilt.
