This is all on Roosevelt Island? Lot bigger than I thought it was - then again I've only seen it from the cable car.
Only issue is the borough in which they sought to call it for. For it to be Manhattan, then, why isn’t there either a bridge or tunnel connecting RI to main Island Manhattan? Sure; there is a bridge to RI, but that’s in Queens, not New York (Manhattan, Obviously). So, in order to get to Roosevelt Island to Main Island Manhattan, you’d have to go through Queens & the Gridlocked, QNZ BLVD. Then the Ed kock bridge, then You’re back to Manhattan, and Vice-Verca. Why not lend it over to Queens? And you could argue that the Roosevelt Island Tram takes you to Manhattan & back, but that’d only be for people, and not vehicles. And besides, the Q102 bus goes from Roosevelt Island, to Astoria; no Manhattan bus routes there.
TL;DR: RI should be in the jurisdiction of QUEENS, not NEW YORK.
Also a TA to mileage Mile: I don’t think you covered all of Roosevelt Island considering you didn’t check South of the RI Tram and ECQBB.
