Nice piping. I didn't see Ye banks and braes among your tunes. It is a nice classic but rarely found on CZcams

Brings back memories. Our band played Campbell’s Farewell as a March in to our medley for competition.

All of these small catchy tunes are always lovely to play

Great tune. Can you share what drone reeds you use for the MacRaes?

I use regular Ezeedrone in the tenors and Henderson Harmonic Deluxe Bass Drone Reed

Hey ralph. What blowpipe do you have? I noticed it is sterling but also tied into an angled joint. Thanks.

That's a good question. Before I got the bagpipe from Maccallum Bagpipes Stuart Maccallum gave me the choice. I chose a modern blowpipe for optimal comfort and he built it for me. It is also quite short but can be easily extended in 1 minute with spare parts. And easy to clean. And the valve is completely silent. I am very satisfied.

NB. The short blowpipe gives your arms an upright position and concentrates the chanter in the center of your body like you would with any other wind instrument. Same logic as short and long practice chanter. The changes make sense.

@@88Ralph1 thank you. I have a set of SL 4’s and love them but use a wide bore blowpipe that is telescopic. I love the silver in your blowpipe. I sent McCallum a message this morning; many thanks!
