Ah this takes me back. In high school I was a pretty lonely kid. I had “friends” who were awful. They often took advantage of me, peer pressure me into stuff, made me the butt of every joke, and excluded me from all the fun things they’d do. Went off to college, and found better people. However, had to return home because of the pandemic, and I find myself lonely again. I’m right back where I started...where the lonely ones roam.
That chorus has something highly satisfying about it. It just fels so soothing... Perfect song... Love you DD
