The mordekaiser matchup is a skill matchup for Volibear. As Voli, you hard destroy him from level 1 to level 5, but from level 6 onwards it becomes a skill matchup. You need to cancel Morde's ultimate with your R, or else he might beat you. He can also destroy you if he ults you after using your E, because Volibear's E vanishes in the death realm. Kiting is also key in winning this matchup.
