As an Eagles fan for 41yrs of my life I had mad love for Michael Irvin but man I hated him he was that damn good he crushed our hearts million times over.

He's right, we unfortunately cheered many opposing players getting knocked out of contests and if it was us getting carried out we typically knew even opposing fans only booed the players that hurt them the most when injured cause their team actually had a shot of winning.
I had no idea Michael Irving was paralyzed, I thought he just left the game on his own merit!
He broke his neck, stretchered off in an ambulance. He was lucky he wasn't permanently paralyzed.
