Hi David you are the best I'm learning a lot watching your show
Thank you very much.

It looks so dangerously delicious!!!
Cheers mate!
Its so easy to drink. Three you say? That will be one heck of a day :)
3, omg. You are a bad dude!!!! I'm going with 2 AMF'S.....
Rum runners are one of my favorite rum drinks. If you have too many, it’s hard to pronounce. Haha “rum rummmer” 🤣 Looks great!
It didn't take much, Thanks.
I absolutely LOVE this drink! Many bars in the Midwest U.S. make a version of this. Great Job, my friend from up North.
Thank you Ray. I did not know that.
The proper end of the night cocktail. One of this and I am off to bed.
Oh yeah. I had not eaten when I filmed this and 30 minutes later I was doing the wow.
@@boozeontherocks haha 😂
I've tried a handful of recipes including HTD's and yours is hands down my favorite!
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you so much for sharing wonderful recipes. Made couple of beautiful color changing cocktails and getting log of compliments. Of course credit goes to you.
I am so glad you are enjoying making cocktails.
I think I’m going to enjoy this one
Awesome I hope you like it.
I’ve never actually had one of these not frozen. Definitely a great vacation drink!
Definitely worth it, especially on a lazy day.
DAVID!!! Now we're cooking with 151. This is my kind of Cocktail. I can't find 151 anywhere, but that's ok, I'll just add more rum!!! CHEERS!!!
Tim! There's no vodka in this, you gonna be ok with that? Lol
@@trevorrose1 LOL, I might need help making it through the rest of the day!!!!
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail hahaha
@@trevorrose1 I don't know, Tim is a vodka Guy!
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail Well, we will have to come up with something to help :)
...Appleton Rum is very popular in SWF South West Florida....looks great David ...
Thank you very much Will.
You can probably make a second cocktail with the amount of booze you spill in those closeups. 🤣 Love this cocktail.
What are you talking about ???? I did not spill that much....
Thought it’s just me spilling booze while layering
I love rum drinks that are basically "keep adding ingredients!"
And they seem to taste great :)
Rum! Now this is my jam! 🤣
*****BREAKING NEWS*****
TREVOR is in the building!!!!
Details at 11.....
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail 🤣
And it is good Jam.
@@TheSpiritoftheCocktail Yes, Yes he is!!
Ha! Excellent choice. In fact, I spent awhile with this drink last night myself... ;)
Sounds like it was a good night.
@@boozeontherocks yup. And you can see some of it next week too. Lol
Yes, we want you to compare, it may take many many swigs of both to do this. I really want to watch... lol
Ah ha, okay, A comparison video... hmmmm..... that can be done.
I love Rum Runners. There is a swim up bar I've been to multiple times that you could get a rum runner and for an extra dollar they would float a test tube on top that was filled with more rum. Of course I always paid the extra dollar lol
Good man! I would have, too!
I would go for that. Where is this Bar you speak of?

@@itsallaboutthecocktail I believe Jen is American.
@@boozeontherocks Yes, I am American.
Such a great drink. Is there ever too many ingredients? I don't think so.
😂😂 Not usually
Hey Dave, I switched over but realized I had not sub'd. well now you have one more. Great looking rum runner. Many variations indeed. I think you need to line them all up and do a rum runner special episode. Maybe a LIVE stream. Cheers my friend.
Hi PJ, its good to have you back. I had the same problem for your channel. I have to figure out how to do a live stream.
@@boozeontherocks it’s easy. I can show you. I usually use my iPhone.
Needs more 151!! 😂😂 have to try this! Cheers!
Have a look for plantation OFTD. That’ll knock your spots off. Only 138 proof, but the flavour is insanely good!
Yes Sir!!
@@StevetheBarmanUK I will look for it!
Where you get the orange squeezer? looks good quality, better then mine I need one, let me know
I got that from my local grocery store :)
That’s a lot of ingredients! And another opportunity to try my Cargo Cult banana infused rum, maybe in place of the white rum.
It is a good number of ingredients, But they work so well together. Definitely try the Banana Infused Rum, That would bring the banana out a bit more. I am curious to know how it turns out.
I think I’ll have to adjust the banana liqueur to avoid over banana’ing it
I made it. OMG, delicious !
@@NicholasFiennes I'm glad you liked it.
It's a nice cocktail, but there's no need laying the 151 rum, then mix it again, so I prefer the shaking method
I can understand that.
Oh Dave. What's not to like, rum, more rum, and what to hell, some more rum, oh and just for health's sake a bit of fruit juice - happy days lol
Well Derek ther is a bit of Rum in this :)
"punching u in the face." LoL. Ya like that, eh David? LoL Well lemme go check it out for myself.
Let me know what you think :)
@@boozeontherocks first time I made that rum runner. I actually liked it among my typical drinks of a tropic nature. I didn't put oj or pineapple juice in my girlfriends, and u shoulda seen her face. 😅😀😅 I bought lost it when she took that 1st sip. Eh, I was nice though and mixed in a the proper ingredients .
How it is possible to be 07:43 in the morning and you to manage to make me think of a drink. That is a dangerous way. And considering how much booze is involved in this drink, it sounds like potentially dangerous one too. I need some overproof rum and I will be able to do this one. So hopefully soon. :@) Cheers David!
That is a good question. Sometimes you just want something good and tasty first thing.... Let me know what you think.
I think a comparison would be awesome. Were you being serious that you normally enjoy the 151 after eating a raw egg??? My brother used to eat raw eggs when lifting weights. Great video this AM.
If you see me make a sour and I separate the egg whits from the yolk. I generally drink the yolk and chase it with a gulp of 151.
Nooooo!!!! Lol, that would make me cringe and laugh at the same time! Hey, thanks so much for visiting us tonight, it meant a lot.
It's funny, I did a video Monday night using blackberries, but my production takes me longer.
II can't wait to see what you made.....
Why would you float the 151 if you weren’t going to lite it.
For a couple of reasons. I did it to separate the flavors and give me that sharp immediate bite. The separation of the color helps to bring out the juices in my opinion and because the glass is not tempered. And mostly I followed a recipe that worked really well.
Why would you stir after such a pro float? Isn't the whole point of floating to serve the drink separated?
Another of these are shaken. I stirred it to incorporate the flavors through the whole drink. But it did look pretty.
mmmm mmmm Tasty High volume quaff!
Yes, yes It is!
I like to shake any cocktail with pineapple juice in it…but sometimes I don’t want more stuff to wash…
I don't blame you. Sometimes. I just want it easy.
So, no one's going to mention the fact that he cut that orange slice longitudinally? How does it feel to be a sociopath, Dave?
Dammit. My secret is out. My daughter saw it and was very unhappy about it.
Can i use less ingredients like just rum, pineapple juice, orange juice and that sweet stuff? 😂 Do you think it would taste ok or good like that?
You can. It won't be quite the same. Use what ever rum you like. Plus the sweet stuff. II will taste good. It will be a different drink. and you can change the ratios to fit what you like. When you figure out how you like it let know and I will try it out
@@boozeontherocks Ok thank you
Love the retro Appleton Bottle. They should never have modernised. It looks terrible now. Do yourself a favour...NEVER bin it. Just decant.
Sounds like a good idea!!!
I really hate the close up pour/spill thing bartender vids do.
It's dumb.
Thank you for your feedback. How do you think I can improve?
Why is it so dark? Mine is dark as fuck also but most I see are bright reddish orange
A lot of the obes you see use light rums and grenadine to get that cllour
