SPARTA and the SPARTANS: The Story of the most famous warrior society - History of Starta , Made a small error in your title at the end Starta instead of Sparta, thought you should know.
Till how many years will you repeat these same old stories Sparta, Epic of Gilgamish, Anunaki, Egypt mummies, fallen angels, demons, big foot etc., Show something new or I am unsubscribing to all such channels.
@@justwannabehappy6735Keep in mind. They were never supposed to win at Thermopylae. The whole point of the battle was to buy time for the rest of Greece to gather their forces. Every man who fought that day knew it was a suicide mission
Spartans were famous for going into battle knowing they most likely will die and not being afraid. Feeding off the beliefs of people and the gods they believed they were related to. Sparta also had women with rights just as men had compared to the rest of the world at the time, but then again Sparta was big on the slavery thing at the same time, if they were more multicultral or accepting of even other greeks then could of lasted alot longer
When they asked why sparta dont have walls spartans said we are the walls
And what ended up happening
@@kobashi1365they repelled the Persians that’s what happened
@@kobashi1365 they eventually became obsolete
It happens that after 2500+ years we remember them, honor them, make movies and videos about them.
"This is where we hold them, this is where we fight, this is where they die!!!" My favourite Spartan line.
Favoriete ‘300’-line you mean. It’s propaganda, sorry it’s based on a comic and not on actual history
Always in awe when I hear about Sparta. It was about time you made this video! ❤

The Spartans simply said, "We are the walls," when asked why their city lacked defenses.

King Leonidas said "THIS IS SPARTA!!"
My favorite greek city state that and athens
One issue only: the 300 spartans that alone defended the path of Thermopily was not all true
That Spartans or Ancient Greece was gay, also isn't true.

well, the channel is SEE U IN HISTORY / MYTHOLOGY. So, basically, telling old stories really sums up what we do here
This sounds like Americas downfall
US Marines love to compare themselves to modern day Spartans 😂
Let's be real. Sparta was just ancient greek north korea if north korea was actually good at war.

What do you call a gay sparta? Greek
More like: "What do you call a gay spartan? An Athenian."
They were in the minority.
