Rusted Moss | Sister Rivalry Achievement Guide

A route for one of the achievements in rusted moss! This can also be done in flexible mode if you just want an easy achievement.
0:00 - Get the grapple hook
1:12 - Head to the Ichor Refinery
3:10 - Get the Shotgun
8:50 - Go to the Pipe
10:04 - Fight 1st Maya and get Grenade
12:07 - Return to Pipe
13:44 - Living Quarters Shotgun skip
14:59 - Vertical Hell
16:31 - 2nd Maya

I took a roundabout way after the shotgun - got the rocket launcher and got to the tree in the Living Quarters from below (can't remember the exact route, as I spent the longest time getting into dead ends and travelling all over the map). While the tree room is normally locked until you have four pieces, there's a gap above the door, reachable with rocket jump. I think there's a couple of jumps afterwards where you need to shotgun boost after rocket jump too (but I might be mistaken, it was all in all a relatively quick trip from that point on).
I took a bit of time to cool down after trying Maya several times and went to watch the rest of your video (tried to do as much as possible by myself, but that bit with invincibility frames in the ichor factory was an eye-opener, so thank you for that).

Thanks, one of the things I did to make this easier for myself was also get the rocket launcher and the trinket that let's you do more damage at full HP to make killing the mobs along the way easier. But the most important part was getting into the living quarters with only the Shotgun, thanks a lot.

Thanks for this guide! For me my personal route was to skip the Shotgun and get the Rocket Launcher instead; I found that since getting hit allows you to hook again in mid-air you can rocket-jump, hook, throw a grenade and try to get hit by it, then hook again to reach Living Quarters. With a few trinkets, HP/MP ups, and only Rail + Launcher I was able to get this achievement, though afterwards I backtracked for Shotgun to have a much easier time in Elfame anyway.

I recommend doing it outside speedrun mode since Maya would give a funny comment in the final fight here.
