Hi guys, it's been over a month with my new Tesla Model Y and I want to share some updates. Like any car, there are pros and cons. I'm gonna go over some of my experiences with it after having it for a while. Let me know how you like your Tesla or if you're thinking of getting one too!

Congrats on your purchase! LOL re. being stressed waiting for 2 weeks. I ordered a standard white Y Long Range last mid-January and didn't get it till mid-April! Watched the date in the app keep slipping, but I got the chance to watch lots of CZcams vids to get ready. Have you been brave enough to try Autopilot yet? BTW, the ONLY thing I don't like is that the flat front is a bug magnet. Yuck!
I am looking at the Model Y standard range so a lot cheaper than the performance version and more economical. I am in the UK and already have a Kia E Niro with home charging. I do find it funny how American gas prices are so much lower than the UK and you say how high they are. Roughly our cost per gallon of petrol would be equivalent to $8-$9.
I think the Tesla service centre idea will be a new one. It is to buy the car on the website, like everything else in life now is. Service centre allows you to test drive, ask questions or get repairs done

I had no idea they were that high in the UK! 😭I’m originally from MX/ Texas area & down there gas is like $3- $4 a gallon & here in Connecticut its around $6-7. Good luck on finding a model that works for you! You’ll love it! 😀

Tesla's depreciate so much it's ridiculous and that's the least of it's problems.
I am in the UK and a 4-5 year Tesla with 40-50,000 miles is not even half the price of a new one. Please show me where they are so I can buy one cheap!!!
@@Jaw0lf lol Tesla lowered it's own pricing 3 times in the last year and a half. You don't know this?
@@richardmckrell4899 Price drop in UK just looked and in 2019 standard range model 3 was £37.340. Apologies as above figures were afor Model 3 standard range. There were no Tesla Model Y's available secondhand on Teslas site. Model 3 SR in UK now cost £39.990. Many of my ICE cars have lost more than 50% in 3 years. Maybe in your mind there is rapid depreceation but try and buy one and the answer is no.
@@richardmckrell4899 but it's still the least depreciated luxury car out there. Lowering the price is the end goal as supply increases. That's the pains of new technology. Initially it's a monopoly on suppliers for parts but over time there are more suppliers who compete to get contracts from Tesla so Tesla gets part cheaper and that savings goes to the consumer. That's a good thing.

I think Elon Musk is like a scammer and I just wouldn't to get any car from Tesla. There are more cons than pros with that car. Tesla is costly to insure and is also super expensive to repair if something breaks or if there is a crash. The cost of a Battery replacement will take away all the savings from filling up on gas. The battery is affected by temperatures, especially the cold. Who has time to spend pre-conditioning a battery to warm up and then charge unless you have no life or are retired and have all the time in the world? That heat pump system that is in the Tesla is so complex that it breaks it will require a ton of money to fix.
No one is forcing you to buy the car. But don't call it a scam. Tesla is the leader in Electric cars for a reason. They will sell every car they make with or without you buying it.
@@achasilas6535 take a couple of steps back and just look at how the company operates. It is pretty apparent they scam people in different ways. I can explain myself but I don't want to write a super long response. Tesla and Apple have the same type of followers. No matter how many times Apple screws its customers they are still buying their products. Look for example at how Tesla price dropped their cars and screwed over their customers that bought the car at supper high prices. Many people on CZcams and online complained about that. Wake up and smell 👃 the coffee.
