    Thanks for showing all sides of India. The modern cities, villages, slums and the spiritual side. Normally foreigners just show the slums and say whole India is the same. India is different every 100 kms.

      @helena russel Who told you most corrupted? Donald Trump is the follower of Prime Minister of India. Most Corrupted were the Britishers. Their build their country on our money. We will handle our situation by ourself. Don't you worry. Indian still preserves it's culture ethos and spiritual heritage. That's enough for us to bounce back.

      @helena russel How did u figure i am angry. I wrote saying thanks to Peter for showing all sides of India and not just the slums, he liked the comnent.
      British came to Indian shores in the 16th century. Indias export to world was around 20% then. When British left it was 2%. They plundered, Pillaged, Killed, Maimed, Tortured, Enslaved Indians. They caused famines in India exporting our food products which we grew and left us hungry and famine stricken. Millions of Indians died. 60 million Indians died in British induced famines. Google Bengal Famine that was one of many.
      However we as a nation got our independence in 1947. From nothing then to now. 2020 we are the 5th largest GDP in the world. Britain is 6th.
      We are proud of our country, family values, culture, traditions and happy not angry.
      We are the most diverse country in the World. We speak 22 languages and around 400 dialects. Followers of all major relegions of the world live in India.
      If some roads have wandering animals and there are some slums in India, it doesnt mean a rats ass.
      Ever seen Skid rows in los angeles where people shit on the streets, throw poop at others, Live on the roads in tents, steal, Kill for a Dollar. I think you should help your people out there.
      God bless you.

      @stitch8134 Před 4 lety

      joe joseph maan, but Skid row is nothing comparing with mumbai... also besides wars and killings, the British brought a normal political and economic structure to India, if not their attempts to bring education to India you more likely wouldn’t be on the 5th place in the world.... just my thoughts, i think every thing has two sides.

    Indians are very welcoming to foreigners. We are very aware of you guys not knowing about India. So, you will see that people will cross limits to help you or make you feel comfortable. This is completely different when I shifted to Germany, and went on a vacation in Hungary and Vienna. People are very consumed with their own lives in the west, so much that you'll feel that they are borderline rude. You don't know Hindi, it's fine, people understand and switch to english, but here in Europe, people just will judge you for not knowing their language. I know it's important to know the language, but there is something that people should learn from Indian hospitality.

    Well done for visiting a village. The heart of India is in it's villages, where 65% of it's 1.4 billion people live. Each state has it's own variety of peoples, languages and traditions. To see the village/small town life is much more representative of the country as the vibe is domestic and family orientated.
    I hope you get to travel more like this. Village life is so vibrant, lively and buzzing. At festivals and melas you have so much music, noise and huge groups of women and girls with long flowing hair and bright colourful clothes, out and about for mela or dancing in unison. It's like a never ending sea of colours, their clothes make everywhere you look seem like a kaleidoscope 🤩.
    Unfortunately, many foreign tourists don't tend to visit villages as that's not where the money is, so they never experience India properly. Most villagers would have never even seen a foreigner. So instead, foreigners get stuck in city streets in Delhi or Mumbai, where it's just a bunch of vendors earning money for their families. It's a real shame, they don't get to see the beauty this way.

    That time when you notice Peters logo is a series of conjoined blue triangles and how much a focus juvenile boys are on his channel.

    Hi Peter
    Nice video. I felt bit short, I wanted to see more !
    If time and resources permit, I would recommend to go to Gujarat and specially Palitana. It’s beautiful mountains and Jain temples.
