Very simple: reduce the boss hp to zero while keeping your hp above zero.

Also goes in the other direction - I like the guthix rest as an optional alternative to blubbers since the update … And yeah, also went Gourmet mode on my first Raxxi attempts :’D

How to pvm:
Wear tank magic, use animate dead and ignore every pvm mechanic

Here’s my advice, cryptbloom + animation dead, use Sara need + blue blubbers, vampirism aura/scrimshaw. You’ll get through any boss in RuneScape with those
Yea thats expensive.
Hell Hounds and Ages aura add 30% damage reduction. The 10% damage reduction of Ages will be better then vamp aura as healing from vamp is dependent on DPS which is what alot of new players are missing.
Scrimshaw of vampyrism is only usefull in melee 🗿, the aura can be use in any style
@@rascototalwar8618 You should really consider doing a lot of Croesus if you'd like cryptbloom. It's not a hard thing to learn, just needs a team to learn.
@@MizMods I love Crptbloom and got my own set from Croses. I was only pointing out with that there are cheaper ways to get damage reduction then top tier gear.

Could be just me but I hear a high pitched ringing slightly on irregular intervals toward the end of the vid
I’d say stuff like animate dead and bik arrows are really good for learning and help u cheese thru mechanics but once you’re comfortable it’s really important to learn to do them without. I learned nm zuk with gano but now I know how to do it properly I can get way faster kills using power armour, and same for ed1 and 2. I’m in the process of learning consistency at zammy as well so I don’t need crypt
I mentioned bik arrows as well cuz even tho they’re bis for a lot of bosses it’s also easy to use them so u can rely on poison damage to carry your dpm instead of using the correct abilities and rotations
would you recommend using full manual combat bar as a pvm beginner?
I would recommend full manual to become accustomed to keybinds and understand rotations. However, I transitioned from using basic abilities on revo and thresholds/ults on manual to eventually full manual. This assisted in delayed reaction times between each manual ability and compensated for downtime for eating, moving, etc.

I know this is super noob...but I'm doing some pvm. Still learning a lot! I've tried sara brews, but dont understand them. I'm using elder overloads. I mainly just use rocktails. Could you explain how to use them and what they do? I'm sure some people wonder the same thing.
Sara brew is a 1k heal but you can drink it at the same time as you eat if you key Bind them
I would say only use your elder overloads on high profit bosses, if you’re just chilling maybe use regular overloads or holy
I'm aware of the 1k health. I'm just not sure when to use a super restore and all of that.
If you are overloaded there is no need to restore as in the effect of the ovls will boost your stats back up
Key binds, key binds, key binds ! If you have Sara brew, rock tail, and jelly fish in let’s say keys a s and d you hit all 3 at the same time and get a fat heal. Also holy overloads are super cost effective and you get the prayer renewal benefits !
How do you know exactly when to use either Scrimshaw of Vamp or Vamp Aura?
Scrimshaw of Vamp only works with melee. Useful to learn with until you feel comfortable enough to swap it for a damage book, Scripture of Jas is a great first book to pick up.
Vamp Aura is useful for magic and range in the same regard, but not as strong, replace with a DPS aura when comfortable.

You should specify that this is for people totally new to bossing. Seems a touch misleading to most people who have a clue about pvm considering they're already on YT looking to improve. Also to starting it with telling them to watch other videos probably isn't the best look.
