Honestly, I was in pretty much the place. But in 1999 I got a job working with the native community that reconnected me. Before that, our family had moved off the Rez decades before, and was "citified" without much native influence or culture. But having reconnected I entered into a brand new world - one that I now fully enjoy.
It's a very welcoming world. :-)

I love the songs that the Black Lodge Singers do. Where could I find the album of the children's songs? Have always loved the Mickey Mouse song and play it often.
Song native store sell CD's from all drum groups. But I think you can also purchase this one on iTunes for download.

This is kind of annoying to me, why are they singing "Swahili" ? Hakuna Matata?? This I African language! Unless I don't know something else, the phrase was popularized by a Disney film too! Is this expose to be entertaining or what let me know!
The album is called "Kid's Pow-Wow Songs", and is filled drum songs designed for children, of whom, even native children, have seen The Lion King. It's a tribute to the movie, with a pow wow song written for children that can relate to it.
