I made these back in the ‘90s. My Grandfather started me on this craft. Not showing anything new. But nice to see they’re still around.
I was making them with my great aunt back in the 80’s. I still have one.
We made these in elementary school in art class one year except we used metal hangers and just put the hanger part on the inside. I loved my tree and I’ve often wondered what happened to it lol. Thank you for the memories! ❤️

Years ago we did this but putting the long part of the hanger together and trying it leaving the hooks on. Wrapping it up in Tinsel and then hanging this on the wall we use the hook part to hang ornaments from

Beautiful tree Amber.I like the tree with the plastic hangers. My son made one for me 22 yrs ago the only thing was they made there's with wire hangers. I cherish my tree. I was looking for wire hangers and nobody has any. So I was sad because I didn't know what I was going to do. Then out of the blue here comes a little angel her name is Amber. I made them with the wire hangers 30+ years ago tinsel in all colors. I think I sold 25-30 of them. They were hot items

You are a very creative person, it is a God given talent! Some crafters although they are talented as well use materials that you cannot afford or cannot even find. Donna Smalley I have been making these for yrs but I use wire hangers, if you would like info just message me on fb, and the wire hangers are much stronger I use to buy a mesh bag of rocks to put underneath and maker them there with garbage ties
For anyone else that wants to weight them down I use wire hangers the edges can go into the ground better, i also garbage tie a mesh bag of rocks from WM underneath

Since these are so inexpensive to make, and so adorable... I am wondering about putting a line of these along my walk way to the front door... maybe hold down with tent stakes?

Just a suggestion, you could use a zip tie on the inside of the frame to keep it secure, one at the top one at the bottom.

My garland must be thinner than what you used. I used 4 strands and still didn't have enough to fill up the frame. Guess it's back to 💵 🌳 to get more. Love the way it's turning out though

Golly i bought a 2 ft tree last yr and it waz 15 dollars nd it is butt ugly. This is beautiful. Every year just rip of the old garland and put on the new. New tree every year. Awesome

You can use hangers and make a star or angel or snowflake or bell or a cross. They are so easy. I’ll post pics on my channel for several of them. They are all over Facebook. Have fun. Let me know what you make, please.
