Had my SYM 125 ADX for.6 weeks now and love it. One thing I will add, is when off road or on tracks - there is not one single rattle. Every panel has been fixed perfectly. SYM done their homework very well with this one. Now just waiting for a decent rack to become available for the rear box!

Hi, thanks very much for doing this review. I am collecting my ADX 125 next week. There are hundreds of reviews around Europe but your review was amazing, exactly what I was looking for and you confirmed that I made the right decision. Thanks again Gerardo Sanchez
Thanks for the review. ADV styling makes scooters cool to a much wider group of riders. Honda ADV scooters will have to lift their game especially with the screen on the Sym. I don't recall you giving us the ground clearance, but looks like it might scrape on kerbs. Some hand guards would add more ADV credibility (and weather protection) to a scooter that's already good looking. Paint finish is great.
What a good-looking scooter compromised slightly by 13'' wheels [14'' would be better] and limited underseat storage, although, as you say, a small top box could be fitted. Great TFT, handlebars and non-adjustable screen. I particularly like the emergency key with the keyless system and the rear shock. First-class review. NJ
I had a SYM 300 maxi scooter, loved it! But I eventually sold it because it was just impossible to get parts for, there's just no dealer network in this country. I'm now riding a Yamaha and there are three dealerships within 20 miles of my house 👍
G'day Mark, great reviews again, have been away on a 10day ride with mates, 6000km travel on my Royal Enfield 650 and it didn't miss a beat, nearly had my head taken off by an eagle 🦅, they feed on dead Kangaroos by the side of the road and don't see motorbikes coming until the last minute, it's claws hit the top of the helmet, no damage done to either, cheers mate have a couple of your to catch up with, Neil 🤠.
Very nice review. I do deliveries, originally on a vespa with 11 inch wheels. I switched to an SH125i for the 16 inch wheels. About the same price as the bike in this review. I did 35,000 miles on the vespa and thus far 45,000 miles on the SH and can tell you what you already know, 16 inch wheels are much better on pot holes. Plus I have a flat floor, very useful for deliveries. Don't think you have ever reviewed the SH125i.
I love this, reminds me of a transformer 😅 in a good way, great colour, scooters really have come on. Great cheap transport 🎉🎉 great review as always Mark 👋
I was watching one of your older videos when you was saying about the speed at 100km with the set up on that bike it wouldn't of been poerted and change rollers and exhaust for a sport one if you don't want to port it is should do 144km and it makes a big difference you don't need to push it every time but nice to have it
Those engines are very similar as Honda's had. SYM use to build Honda scootters and mopeds. I had Sym Bonus 110cc and it was almost full replica of Wave. My PCX 150 (2019) never consumed more than 2l/100km. And most of the time I drove with my wife and son. Now Xmax 300 (2023) consumes about 2,8L/100km. And I am alone over 15kg more than you, so that Sym is not low consumption for 125cc. Keyless start is must to have novadays. And it never have failed for me. Just battery need to changed ones a year. Thank you, very good reviews. (From Thailand)

@markpulling12 Lexmoto are listing a 125cc and a 300cc ADV scooter on their website. From the photos it looks like the SYM is better built but the Lexmoto is about £1000 cheaper.

The keyring retainer on your keyfob is broken, lol. That's on a brand new bike too, what a crappy design by SYM, I don't understand why they haven't changed it yet... Had to design and 3D print an enclosure for my JetX 125's fob since it keeps falling off its keychain. There are some third party off-the-shelf enclosures available from Indonesia and Malaysia where the Jet X 150 (aka GPX Drone) is widespread, but with shipping and customs it is way too expensive. Those are also made of metal and they connect the two clamshell halves with hex head screws, so removing the key will be a long, fiddly process involving a specific hex key.

There's a reason why so many delivery riders use machines like these. Reliable, stupidly frugal, and oh so easy to just 'hop on and off'....
I ride a 2018 Honda PCX 125 and it's bullet proof. Put 21000 miles on it in less than 4 years. Been on many long trips and it never lets me down.
