Hi Mak. Very few internet spaces make me feel as safe as this. Obviously, i dont know you but there is something that feels incredibly genuine about these videos and, currently living in a remote place while simultaneously having a sexuality crisis, in the past month your videos and the pod have become important to me in a way i didnt expect. The first things I watched on your channel, after getting to know about you through the We're Having Gay Sex podcast, were the "coming out through photos" videos you did with Alayna and Ashley (I think you did that format with Ashley too right?). I thought that was a great concept that made for fun videos. Probably a lot more work to organize than the videos you can do by yourself, but I thought I'd put it out there that at least I enjoyed that format very much. I think you do interview-y/conversational style content in general very well, on both sides of the questions.

So crazy seeing you finally move! I just moved away after 3 years and have been watching you for just over a year! I do miss it, can’t lie.
Cheers to the beginning of your west coast journey! A few things I wish someone would have told me: Listen to your gut, if someone seems sketchy: they are (no matter how hot or affluent they appear no cap). Enjoy the weather as much as you can, and don’t take toooo much advice from other transplants. Discover the city in ways that you feel will give you a sense of community (like finding your fave coffee shops, hiking trails, and flea/farmers markets my personal fave is the Los Feliz one). Get to know the communities. You would probably vibe with Silver Lake/Echo Park, Culver City, Sherman Oaks/Studio City, Venice, and WeHo depending on how busy it is (for some reason there’s always crazy accidents on Santa Monica Blvd when it’s packed) just to name a few. If you want to feel like you’re downtown but not IN downtown, K-Town is THE place. Just be aware of the nonexistent and treacherous parking situation. Hella food that’s open late, everything from sushi, Chinese, Thai, KBBQ, Japanese, Burgers, Desserts, Boba and more.
As for gyms I’ve tried a few, there’s lots of studios that specialize in cycling, boxing, etc. Speakeasy is more local (but very influencer vibes), I’ve heard good things about Sanctuary Fitness in Ktown but haven’t been myself. There are private gyms like John Reed and BuiltRx that are nice but are pretty pricey.
