Kratos is the type of father who initially didn't want the dog, but secretly missed the dog the most when it 'went away' and was stunned when his kid found a way to revive him.
I mean probably he don’t want because it’s just more responsbility but he is a responsible person
I mean, he obviously has affection for wolves, such as the dialogue later on when you summon the wolves to turn night to day and vice versa. If you do it twice Freya will question Kratos, which his response is.
"I...wanted to see the wolves again"
And then there’s Specki and Svanna, who Kratos acts strict towards, but admits in his journal he’s come to care for them.

Only the Mind part of Direction soul entered the knife. When it was injected, the other three soul bits gradually overtook Garms, so it’s likely that Fenrir retained some of Garm’s knowledge.
