Made a small mistake here, Zamor Curved sword is an end game weapon. Had my locations mixed up. However the build is still good for beginners just will have to use a different weapon until you pick it up!

Bloodhound Fang carried me through my first playthrough and it's one of my favorite quality weapons! As is my style when playing a new souls-like, I always do a quality build for my original playthrough, so I can have access to almost every weapon in the game
For beginners who want to go for dexterity, hookclaws are a great choice. Don't sleep on quickstep just because it's the default skill. You'll be surprised how many backstabs are possible just by quickstepping left or right. Medium load makes backstabs easier. The damage becomes OP when you use buffs like bloodflame blade, blood grease, or scholar's armament. Recommended talismans: Lord of blood's exaltation, Winged sword insignia, Green turtle talisman, Dagger talisman, Veridian amber medalion, Erdtree's favor
I’m having a great time with a strength and intelligence build. Heavy iron balls with scholars armament. Plus I wanted to mention that the banished Knight’s great sword and the knight’s great sword have a true combo. Two handing the swords gives the jumping R1 to R1 combo
Nice video! I would not call build 3 starter friendly, you have to get to the GIANT-CONQUERING HERO'S GRAVE in the Mountaintops that’s more to the end game.
Hey man, came across your video as I just started my first playthrough of Elden Ring. I love the look and sound of how Bloodhound's Fang work. I know you said you can get it early in the game but I don't think you touched on HOW to get it. Can you explain a little please to this old man? Thanks
Two ideas: Meteorite Staff + Moonveil, both early pickups and with rock sling and carian slicer you are actually set all game if you want Claymore and just go str. Greatsword moveset is amazing, it's a smithing do all affinity and it has access to so many ashes of war so you can really play around with it.
Yea claymore is also a souls game classic from fromsoft so I couldn't resist using it on my first playthrough. Loved using different ashes of war like piercing fang, impaling thrust, lion's claw, etc.
There's a phrase that a friend of my told me years ago when we were talking about our favorite weapons in dark souls. Even though he prefers the bastard sword, what he said resonates with me to this day and, no matter my build, I always keep the claymore in my back pocket because, as he said: "Clay is bae"
Hahah hence the beginner builds. Def don’t kill him but if u want 10% at the beginning of the game instead of 15% at end game then make the hard choices🫡🫡🫡
Um... Pastor, The Zamor curved sword does not have a unique R2. That R2 is shared by most great curved swords, including the Bloodhound fang. It does have a unique R1 chain, though.
Ive been on Margit for almost a week now and he starting to seem impossible to even kill , i kind of lost count how many tries I've done buts probably over 100 =(
I just beat him easily after trying so many times by summoning rogier, use ash for a strong ally half way through so Margit focuses on them the whole time. All you do then is stay away and use spells on him like Pebble or something from a distance.
Beginner builds then proceeds to show a level 170 character lol we have very different ideas about what a beginner is ;) cheers for the vid tho it was entertaining
Well, no one said they where powerfull, just beginner friendly and useable from early game, and that's more important to people who never played these type of games before. But your input was very informative and your build suggestion was very creative.

A build I found really good was 2 curved bandit swords with bloody slash. It makes early game easy
