      This detail is outlined and highlighted by batmans narration, additionally noting that the room is favouring the rotting the side, as if the rot is claiming the soul. The comic is also more graphic in the similarites between two face and batman. Every analogy for dent is an analogy for the bat. This is lost in the film, the only reason to watch the film would be because you can't afford the comic. It is quite literally the poor man's version

    This is easily one of my favorite Batman moments, if not, my favorite. It really solidifies who Batman is and what he does in that one scene. Sure, you have rights, but Batman isn't tethered to the justice system, while at the same time, helping it.

    releasing the crook was a tactical move to create a lead for batman to follow. Gordan released him as soon as possible and contacted Bruce to keep the trail hot.
