I became a Stay because I accidentally saw a reaction to Neverending Story and was curious where it was from so i looked it up and realized it was for Extraordinary You. Which was the first k-drama i’d ever seen. I found the show a week before finding Stray Kids. It’s been the happiest accident.😊

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty certain the live performance of Neverending Story was one of their first live performances without Woojin. I believe Levanter was released on December 14 and this was a week later. All eight of them seem very subdued, which of course could be due to the song itself, but I gotta imagine there's still a lot of uncertainty that they're feeling. Will Stay still accept them, will they be able to continue as eight, etc. Han was even on a semi-hiatus during this, due to anxiety. I believe he only performed and didn't do any fan events. Every time I watch this, I always think of how sad they were during this time, not knowing that they are on the verge of exploding in popularity. Hello Stranger is such an underrated Skz song! One of the many songs I wish we could have seen performed live.

Neverending story live stage was amazing. One of my favorite performances. I couldn't believe it was live. And it was the moment I fell so hard for Han 😭😭😭
No matter how many times I've heard "Here Always" I have that nostalgic feeling that only a handful of singers are able to create. So even if the song is in language, I don't know, regardless of that, I understand the meaning through sheer emotions. And that's what true talent is.
First off, INNIE! After watching Hello Stranger, I think I died inside. Second off, HYUNJIN! Third off, I would like to say how beautiful Seungmin looked in multiple of the videos, his visuals are not talked about enough. And the final thing, they all sounded so amazing together. Their music is so catchy. Like Heyday and even their slower songs, are just amazingly produced.
Street Man Fighter is a dance competition show, so one of the dance groups performed to Heyday (sorry I don't remember the name of the group but you should check it out!) There's no fighting going on 😂 except maybe in a west side story way

When i was diving deep into skz as a baby stay(2020), Voices has been the song that showed the heavenly adlibs (tnx lino) and I already knew Han belts in Hellevator. It's when I heard Neverending Story that I got gripped by Seungmin, it's like shaking my soul for having overlooked such a powerful vocalist and feeling pride that SKZ is THIS versatile (my first experience of true duality). And then I watched their predebut survival show and saw how Seungmin rarely had that chance to flaunt except 4419 and Spread my Wings - I seriously added Seungmin in my biases (with Han and Changbin) during the live stage 😂 -- but well, soon enough, ive biased them all which defeats the purpose of a bias LOL
The panicked, nervous noises and wanting to fight them all during Hello Stranger is so valid. 😂😂 Pretty sure we were all there during this video. Neverending Story is SO beautiful and I'm in shambles that I'll never get to witness it live. Heyday was like a whole cultural reset for me, along with Just Breathe (a track they did with Sky-Hi that you guys should definitely check out as well). Seungmin's vocals are SO gorgeous i don't even need to comment. They're amazing.
Yay! I'm so excited you reacted to these. And what a rollercoaster it was. To be serenaded by Seungmin and his angelic voice for the first two and then go into Heyday, which is straight fire. Chans rap is so catchy, and Han and Binnie kill it as always. Of course, you saved the best two songs, in my opinion, for last. Never Ending Story is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I am so happy you watched their live also. It is such an amazing experience to see their unmatched vocal talents. Especially Han, who is on another level with his singing. Then, after we were whisked away to a magical dream land with NES. You finish with Hello Stranger, which is such a banger and one of the most under-rated SKZ songs. This song is just so good and one of my top fav songs. And your reaction to the mv was so perfect. Getting attacked by the visuals and the song at the same time. It does put you in a fight and flight mode. You just can't process it. Neverending story is such a special song for me. This song got me interested in skz after watching extraordinary you. The song sounds beautiful and learned it was by skz. Watched the live after. Got shocked how changbin sings the first time, then rapped the next. Then, i watched God’s menu. Fell down the rabbit hole. They were the only group i stanned after 2 years of kpop slump (was a multistan since 2009). Proud to say I got to hear a snippet of it live during the concert here🥰 I’m really glad i found them
Neverending Story holds a special connection to my heart. It's a song that was first released after a member left back in 2019. It was also the first song that I've heard and figured that it was an OST for a drama. Along with the fact that Han was in a semi-hiatus during that time becuase of his anxiety becuase after performing this song, they held a fanmeeting where Han was either backstage or were silent during the whole thing (he does still talk with the fans tho? I could be wrong?). To this day, I still listen to that song and can't help but feel my heart clench thinking that a possible disbandment of the kids could occur back then. However, with the release of other OST's the recent one that I favored is Here Always. One thing and One thing only, the lyrics and the melody. That's it.
I agree that you should ask for order of songs to not experience the rollercoaster of emotions but that's also part of Stay journey, you never know what they release. You could be sobbing cuz of one song then be slapped by a party hype song next, then a chill one after. When you finish listening you'll question "What now?" I love the rollercoaster of emotions here though, from soft and sweet to hype then calming down before going through a struggle
Never ending story is my song. I don't even have a favorite song in skz (bcs the way I genuinely love all the songs so much) but whenever im alone in home I put never-ending song and pretend to belt out to it lol. Skz osts are all such bangers like literally idk what they put in it but it's tasty af. And seungmin's voice!! I don't really like ballads bcs I usually listen to more louder faster stuff but his voice just makes me loop it again and again for the best of it. Loved the reaction like always!!!

@@NewChapterReactions Well we could say WOW is... unique 😭 there are gems in 3racha pre-debut discography. The most iconic probably is Matryoshka. My top 5 picks would be Matryoshka, Scene Stealers, Eunseoki (Chan produced it but he's not in it), Runner's High (with live performance) and Double Knot(different from skz Double Knot). And WOW of course. There are many gems for real.
Heyday is my all time favorite song. I didn't in any way expect it the first time I listened to it. But here I am. #2 Heyday enthusiast after Hyunjin. He'll always have the top spot.

Really cool fun fact about heyday is that they made this song for street man fighter(a dance competition show) and it dropped out of nowhere with no warning and there is a lyric that says “legendary like Tiger JK” and Tiger JK saw it and tweeted about it. Extra-ordinary You - the characters from a cartoon/comic book that become self-aware. There's a definite ending for this book, so the song is more meaningful in saying their story won't end. Very cute. It took me a bit to get thru the show, but it does have Rowoon from SF9 (he was in Kingdom for a little bit, but was unable to perform a ton due to back injury) and even during Kingdom they showed a clip from this show when they were trying to get acting lessons to show what he's done in the past. Most of these are on my main playlist. I think Close to You is the only one that's not - Here Always I believe was sorta brought into the Oddinary album and they added a few members and re-titled it Waiting for Us. I could be wrong, but I thought it's the same song (sorta).

The bias question has been a hard one for us because it has been so hard to decided. We don't bias all 8 ... YET. I feel like we're heading that direction 😂. Bri biases Chan and Felix and is almost certain she biases Han and she definitely biases Changbin even if she doesn't admit it yet lol. I bias Chan, Felix, Han and Lee Know. Lately we've been struggling with Hyunjin, I.N and Seungmin on the daily 😭. It's a struggle.

I can deal with angst as along as the ending is happy. If the show is good and the ending sucks I'm always so mad 😭. We're usually pretty good about vetting reviews on shows before we watch them now. We've been burned too many times 😭😭

No matter how many times I've heard "Here Always" I have that nostalgic feeling that only a handful of singers are able to create. So even if the song is in language, I don't know, regardless of that, I understand the meaning through sheer emotions. And that's what true talent is.

When i was diving deep into skz as a baby stay(2020), Voices has been the song that showed the heavenly adlibs (tnx lino) and I already knew Han belts in Hellevator. It's when I heard Neverending Story that I got gripped by Seungmin, it's like shaking my soul for having overlooked such a powerful vocalist and feeling pride that SKZ is THIS versatile (my first experience of true duality). And then I watched their predebut survival show and saw how Seungmin rarely had that chance to flaunt except 4419 and Spread my Wings - I seriously added Seungmin in my biases (with Han and Changbin) during the live stage 😂 -- but well, soon enough, ive biased them all which defeats the purpose of a bias LOL

Yay! I'm so excited you reacted to these. And what a rollercoaster it was. To be serenaded by Seungmin and his angelic voice for the first two and then go into Heyday, which is straight fire. Chans rap is so catchy, and Han and Binnie kill it as always. Of course, you saved the best two songs, in my opinion, for last. Never Ending Story is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I am so happy you watched their live also. It is such an amazing experience to see their unmatched vocal talents. Especially Han, who is on another level with his singing. Then, after we were whisked away to a magical dream land with NES. Neverending story is such a special song for me. This song got me interested in skz after watching extraordinary you. The song sounds beautiful and learned it was by skz. Watched the live after. Got shocked how changbin sings the first time, then rapped the next. Then, i watched God’s menu. Fell down the rabbit hole. They were the only group i stanned after 2 years of kpop slump (was a multistan since 2009). Proud to say I got to hear a snippet of it live during the concert here🥰 I’m really glad i found them
Neverending Story holds a special connection to my heart. It's a song that was first released after a member left back in 2019. It was also the first song that I've heard and figured that it was an OST for a drama. Along with the fact that Han was in a semi-hiatus during that time becuase of his anxiety becuase after performing this song, they held a fanmeeting where Han was either backstage or were silent during the whole thing (he does still talk with the fans tho? I could be wrong?). To this day, I still listen to that song and can't help but feel my heart clench thinking that a possible disbandment of the kids could occur back then.
However, with the release of other OST's the recent one that I favored is Here Always. One thing and One thing only, the lyrics and the melody. That's it.
I agree that you should ask for order of songs to not experience the rollercoaster of emotions but that's also part of Stay journey, you never know what they release. You could be sobbing cuz of one song then be slapped by a party hype song next, then a chill one after. When you finish listening you'll question "What now?"

there are gems in 3racha pre-debut discography. The most iconic probably is Matryoshka.
My top 5 picks would be Matryoshka, Scene Stealers, Eunseoki (Chan produced it but he's not in it), Runner's High (with live performance) and Double Knot(different from skz Double Knot). And WOW of course. There are many gems for real.
Heyday is my all time favorite song. I didn't in any way expect it the first time I listened to it. But here I am. #2 Heyday enthusiast after Hyunjin. He'll always have the top spot.

Their ability to relay emotions, no matter what those emotions might be by the contrasts of lyrics and sound are what drew me to them ( first heard them not long after their debut ) and that was after finding 2pm and GOT7 . Extra-ordinary You - the characters from a cartoon/comic book that become self-aware. There's a definite ending for this book, so the song is more meaningful in saying their story won't end. Very cute. It took me a bit to get thru the show, but it does have Rowoon from SF9 (he was in Kingdom for a little bit, but was unable to perform a ton due to back injury) and even during Kingdom they showed a clip from this show when they were trying to get acting lessons to show what he's done in the past.
Most of these are on my main playlist. I think Close to You is the only one that's not - Here Always I believe was sorta brought into the Oddinary album and they added a few members and re-titled it Waiting for Us. I could be wrong, but I thought it's the same song (sorta).
Correcting myself - I went back to listen to both Here Always and Waiting for Us and nope they are not the same at all. lol

The bias question has been a hard one for us because it has been so hard to decided. We don't bias all 8 ... YET. I feel like we're heading that direction 😂. Bri biases Chan and Felix and is almost certain she biases Han and she definitely biases Changbin even if she doesn't admit it yet lol. I bias Chan, Felix, Han and Lee Know. Lately we've been struggling with Hyunjin, I.N and Seungmin on the daily 😭. It's a struggle.

There is nothing WORSE than the dramas that the main characters break up and don’t get back together and other unhappy endings!!! It’s the worst to make it to episode 15 and realize it’s gonna end badly after watching almost all of the show! 😤 ❤😂
I can deal with angst as along as the ending is happy. If the show is good and the ending sucks I'm always so mad 😭. We're usually pretty good about vetting reviews on shows before we watch them now. We've been burned too many times 😭😭
Exactly! The ending is everything! My problem is that I like going into shows without knowing anything so I look at reviews. I guess I should start though.
