I can totally understand Handong's difficulties with mixing up the pronunciations of her nickname "Dong" 동 and poop 똥 (ddong)
It has to be tough!
Handong's name is Han Dong. Dong is her first name and the Chinese pronunciation is the same as the English pronunciation, but that way of saying it gives the Korean word for poop. Knowing Handong's sense of humor, I'm pretty sure it isn't always accidental.
The Korean language is perfect for puns and word games. Jiu's Dad jokes are all puns.
They all have a great sense of humor!
The pooping discussions always gets me 🤣🤣
We're not usually ones to laugh at poop jokes, but in this situation, it seems quite humorous 🤭

It’s a combination of pronunciation, language barrier for Handong, them liking to drink, a dirty sense of humour, their enjoyment of flirting with women and flustering each other, them being extremely comfortable around each other and their company giving them a relative amount of freedom as they aren’t in the public eye as much as other girl groups.

You might enjoy Insomicsy's "laugh with Dreamcatcher part 1" and it's sequel "Dreamcatcher reacts to laugh with Dreamcatcher part 1". Yes: the women of Dreamcatcher do come across Insomicsy's videos, and they liked that one enough to react to it during a vLive. It's probably too meta to do a reaction to the reaction video, but you'd both would almost certainly enjoy seeing it.
Oh awesome! It definitely sounds meta, but we are up for the task! We will make sure to add it to our list. Do you recommend we do Insomicsy's version first, and then Dreamcatcher's reaction to it?

Insomnicsy’s videos will *always* have subtitles edited into the video clips. no need to ever turn on autogenerated subtitles unless you just want to laugh at how poorly CZcams’s AI understands languages.
