His BLS I believe was dead at that point, and figured it is ok to leave him with a card that might be valuable later in the duel. I usually like to leave opponents with chaos monsters if they are no imminent threat to me.

There is risk in one of the unknown cards being a mirror force or another saku, but i would do it cause otherwise i'd be in a really bad spot if his BLS hit the field.

Since when i was playing back in the day me and my friends had a motto "If you have potential lethal, go for it" which obviously isnt always right, but this was a situation where you do it.
It reminds me of my childhood when I played the starter deck kaiba vs my dad. I was 8 years old at the time. I didn't return to this game until I was an adult so La Jinn was a great memory for me. Side note in Yugi-Kaiba format, La-Jinn is a power card!

Man this duel had my heart PUMPING! Q: G1, Why did you send the BLS back, but then for the second TD, you didn't resend BLS again?
