I would LOVE a Service Area Let's Play! I almost feel like Service Area and Jeans Shaker Oasis connect with each other enough to warrant having both of them in an uberhood.
I AM SO SICK OF PREMADES DUDE PLEASE OMG if I see another “let’s play pleasantview! part 1” I WILL DIE. Maybe if anyone ever got passed gen 3 it would be better BUT nobody does, and I can only watch daniel pleasant walk out on his family so many times.

I saw reviews of Service Area by Lauraaloosims and Springsims and was already intrigued... I think a let's play with your enthousiasm for goofy stuff will be so much fun to watch. Can't wait! (Though I only lurk most of the time ... 😅)

I think the one CC in the pictures with the Cassidy clones is a conversion from the Sims 4: Strangerville. Also, I would enjoy a let's play of Service Area.

Hello Sammy! Thank you very much for your review!! ^^ I'm really excited to see this because I always watch your videos and I love your construction style! When I was building the neighborhood I thought you might like the alien house. ^^ In a couple of days I will update the Service Area file in modthesims with some improvements that I had forgotten or had not done due to lack of time. Especially when it comes to relationships and some memories.
About Jeans Shaker Oasis, Philian is the only sim with the same text in his bio and family description, this is because I wanted to make it clear that he is a fool controlled by Jessica. Although in the next update he will have his own bio. If you want to try Jeans Shaker Oasis, I recommend downloading a version that I uploaded to the modthesims forum recently, the link is in the description of the neighborhood, it will take you to the topic of the forum where I published the link. This version has a considerable reduction in vegetation and many improved houses. I'm working on a final version of Jeans Shaker Oasis with new photos and some improvements and additions to the story, I hope to finish it in a couple of months.
Hello! Thank you for these awesome hoods!! I can tell a lot of work went into it, I love the storytelling pictures so much. Thanks for letting me know about the update! Right now I plan on playing Service Area for a Let's Play and I was actually just starting to prep it for me to play (I use the traits mod so I was going around and doing those and also fixing hairs that my defaults goofed up among other things) but I will def wait until the updated one is up now.

Oh my gosh, I would LOVE to tune in to a let’s play for Service Area! I play on a Mac and only have the Super Collection, and it bums me out that these fantastic hoods are unplayable for me. I’d love to watch your playthrough! Thank you for such an in depth review; it looks so fun!

yes this is on my list! I love the idea of scripted events in a custom hood.
There's this AMAZING hood of Sunset Valley recreated in the sims 2! It's literally so good, the map and every single building is an identical clone to the sims 3! First time loading it up, it felt so surreal to see The Sims 3 but in The Sims 2. I think you should check it out! The same creator (i think) even did a sub hood for university that's also a copy of the one that comes with 3's University Life. It's honestly an amazing build that took serious dedication and i think it deserves more love and attention.
The buildings also aren't hollow rabbit holes or hood deco (at least Sunset Valley, the uni has some deco buildings. ) One of my favorite things to do is check out what the imagined versions of the rabbit holes would look like, since we obviously never seen them in ts3

tysm for this video, Ive tried to make Service Area my main hood but then i had problems when i tried to make Jeans Shaker Oasis my business district. Has anyone made it like this? ive read in forums they can do it. I downloaded the mootilda mod and put the JSO neighborhood file in \The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate\SJSO. But it doesnt show up :(
Hey there! I believe there are specific steps needed to make a regular hood a show as a subhood (aka business district). Is the file you are using a subhood already? I didn’t think I saw a subhood version available of these hoods. You may have to do some looking to see if there are tutorials for converting a main hood to subhood. I have followed one a while ago but I am on mobile while answering this so I’m not able to grab a good link.
