I totally relate with you Rafa, I was there some time ago. Hope you will find your base (a cheap studio to rent somewhere) - so you have your cocoon with a kitchen and a routine. And travel when ever you want and for as long as you want.

I can't wait to have that place to call home and keep traveling and creating from there... it will be my next step and I am excited to share all here 🥰

a lot of people mention loneliness as a DN, but you could also easily become lonely if you own a home and live in one place. Mostly just depends on your willingness to put yourself out there DN or not

I totally agree with you, you can be lonely anywhere anytime but i think the DN life can make it a bit harder.. i consider myself super outgoing, always put myselft out there but i did have moments when i felt lonely because i missed consistency... but everyone is different!

Great vid as usual, Rafa. The main issues I have faced as DN were:
    Lack of beloging
Things are really hard when you get sick, in another, in another language.
Looks like all DN are running from something, like a major pain, or stuff related. Few people are really enjoying being DN.
As you get older, you will feel the longing of coming back home, trust me.
Get to know other cultures and other countries, also becomes a routine.

Amen to all these points. I'm a DN who doesn't meet too many DNs, so I don't hear most of these things from anyone else (just myself). So many good points here

Really appreciate the topic of becoming desensitized to amazing experience because you've experienced too much too fast. Definitely another reason why I'd like to be a "slow"-mad and stay at a place 4-6 months at a time to really ground myself.

well i wil be also shearing one day my story, in short i have had experienced pretty crazy journey not as a digital nomad YET.. that gives you a "financial security" but imagine moving from places to place(changes by nature), high cortisol-stress, what does to your mental health and so on.. without any like financial stability.. crazy how it all move into mental space -burnout and couses many health issues.. and like the body then get used to it and can demage the brain and health overall..
as you said MOVE SLOWLY.. gound for a while . make plan and so on.. mainly take care of wellbeing, also havnig solid routine where you can take everywhere, find balance.

Thankfully in Brazil, they are very welcoming of foreigners and i've always found a gym and a grocery store within several blocks. Reciting gratitude mantras daily is very helpful for the mind

I think DN is ok for a while when you young but at some point you will realise that a home where you have a routine etc is a good thing too. i love travel but i am a homebody too i like owning something working on the garden and house etc and having a friend group around

it all comes down to 2 things. 1. Are you the type of person for this? and 2. Are you doing everything to make this experience a pleasure.
If you are a person who can’t be alone in general, needs to see friends and family on a regular basis, then this lifestyle is probably not for you. BTW making deep connections and real friendships is hard in general these days and not limited to the digital nomad experience.

I don't get it- why does one need to keep traveling to be a digital nomad? Can't you work for one company and just stay in another country?

Lol, that's what I would do yes.
Just find one good place like in Bali and work there 8 months a year with some ocasional travels to nearby countries..
      Just keep it simple.
Also, ideally I would like to travel/live with some collegues or friends

Better help virus making the rounds again. Nomads these days just put these copy cat sponsor videos out. No real way to know if they just wrote a fake script for the sponsor. People weren't born yesterday its so obvious most of you are lying.
