I asked awhile back to either saph or SOS or someone, and Krok's passive def reduction shares a cap with cruelty or other permanent reductions. So he can help you get there faster but can't reduce past the 30% or whatever the cap is.

I believe Krokmar's passive work with cruelty on champ/bosses with higher attack. For those with higher def it dosent stack, but it likely helps to get to the cap faster
