I was going to go film but I thought there would not be very many guys there with the rain. So I stayed home great filming in the rain....
@@Mikefngarage I’ve filmed every Pomona since it came back after the Pandemic. At this point I gotta keep the streak going. Glad the turnout was decent
@@MikeFrankovich yea better than I thought It was a $100 cost decision to me Gas plus entrance. just didnt pan out. plus my wipers are sketchy.

Well Mike you made the best of a not so favorable weather situation at Pomona yesterday, I could rub it in.......our temp. was 70 degrees and sunny here in the OZARK'S. You did a great job. Wayne

26:36 the Model A with trailer lights also had a primer spot on the back of the car. he wants everybody to see him from now on.

I planned to go.. heavy rain in my area.. figured same there.. looking for 65 or 66 SS hard top or rag. That 66 is overpriced! I missed buying 66 convertible in Oakland, loaded 396.. 41k.. my luck had contractors clearing land slide at moms. That cost me buying that 66.. now looking at 65 out of state worst case..
I'm sure the right car will pop up. It's always when you least expect it.

When I was growing up we called those trucks fleet side not dent side. Enjoy
Bump side is a 1967-72 Ford Truck. Dent side is the generation after that from 1973 on.
Mike, I gave you a Like per your request. Also, there were some nice cars for sale at this show, but then there were others on trailers that I consider condition 5 parts cars. I'm curious: do you see those sell at a reasonable pace or do you see the same con. 5 cars at different shows on the trailers?
Some do sell, but I'm guessing after negotiations. There are often cars that are at more than one swap meet for sale.
@@MikeFrankovich Thanks for the clarification--I thought that might be the case. Also, on a humorous note, you said you sold a car to a buddy but he never paid you for it--in my book he is no longer my buddy. ;)
We are inthe ,50s and. 60s in pa , but not takeing the car out till the salt is washed off the roads .

What do you think of the prices overall at the swap meet? Are they close to what they get or does everyone start high?
Prices tend to be high at Pomona. Sometimes there's a few great deals mixed in.
Thank you yesterday was my first time attending and felt everything seemed high but was wondering if they just expected a lot of negotiation
