I have bought an old house 3 yrs ago. That undertile membrane is old & broken. It needs to be replaced. I wonder what would it cost to lift tiles and replace it for a new one?
It depends on the size of the house, what style of roof you going for (hip roof, flat roof, gable, school house look, or lots of shape) and what roofing material you plan on using, Metal sheeting or cement tiles.. (cement tiles require more trusses vs IBR roof trusses.) Pre-manufactured trusses do come with, delivery to site, installation and gaurentee from the roofing company so you do pay a bit more for that.. The total for this roof was R102k, see 8:51

If the amount of tiles was truely 2000 , the house would be approximately 225 square meters
