Don’t try to scrub the darkened marks out of the copper pot or you will ruin it! The tin turns dark when heated and used. Just wash the pot. 😊

Janell here, l was so inspired by the black lamp shades so I decided to paint my own that were brass. Taped, spray painted, done! Thanks for the idea! Love the Robin King but can't afford the $75... Will be trying to dupe that with vintage cards on my Longaberger wood lids.☺️

This is a tole lamp.,not toile but tole. I don't remember the history behind these lamps .May be associated with tole painting because some have decorative painting.Usually have a metal shade .yours look like they are very upscale.I had a pair of yellow ones in my son's room when he was little.love Randal .You are a joy to my soul .You enjoy what you are doing .God bless.

I have the same exact lamp! I thought the same thing when I bought mine until I figured out how the knob worked. I got mine for $9 on 1/2 off day at a thrift store.You got an awesome deal. It is such a beautiful classic style that has carried me through different seasons of decorating. I love the other lamp you got too.So many cool finds and can't wait to see how you style them all.

As always you came up with an idea I never would thought of. It makes such perfect sense to utilize tissue covers as vessels for florals. We live in Jacksonville, FL, and back in the 80's we had a store called the Rag Shop; they closed a long time ago, and I'm not sure where the stores originated, but they carried the same dried silk roses as the ones you showed. Maybe that will help, they even came in purple and a cream color. I don't remember the name of the company that made the flowers.
Much anticipated video, as with all your videos! Another flawless display of your design ideas. I do have one question, the Merrifield gardens you reference, do they have a website that I could order from? I have tried to look them up on line, and have had no luck, I only find live plantings ect.
