I've had some training in note recognition, so that helps. I'm impressed that you can pull G5s out of your vocal repertoire, especially for a guy. It's a pretty hard note for most women to hit in their full voice. Do you have any recordings of your singing? I'd love to hear! My voice is makes heavy use of falsetto rather than full-voice notes, and I also extend my range by singing in the whistle register, which takes me a full 11 notes higher than what Karen hits here.
Well, the positive is that you are in the right position at the right time to model mature behavior as well as change the life of a young girl who will look to you for the rest of your life as a father. I think that's a beautiful thing.
