i think is form is fine. i wouldnt change it. Lonzo's form mechanically needed some tweaking but Melo's seems mechanically sound. Unless his efficiency is consistently low I would keep it.

Melo is an actually serious prospect, his maturity and basketball IQ has elevated over the years. I think him playing in those european leagues, have given him time to hone his craft. He is a Top 5 pick.

He has definitely changed a bit during his years. He used to just throw up deep 3s, now he has some strategy to what he is doing
His shooting form looks unconventional, but he's been shooting like that from ridiculous range that I don't think it will not be a problem once he gets in the NBA.
The reason Lonzo has trouble shooting is that his shot comes from the left side of his body so it moves diagonally going up to the center.
Lamelo's is just a little bit low, but he's 6'8" and will probably be 6'8" or 6'9 with a quick release, so while it does not look like the common shot, it will work just fine.
