Had my eye on Odunze very early this past year when he was projected to be a mid-1st round pick. A great season elevated his status to the point that I seriously doubt he'll still be on the board when Poles selects at #9.

Very impressed by this guy. Seems like a great player, and he actually knows what he's talking about. DJ Moore is a great receiver but not a brand name to the whole world. The average college football player is not going to know that Moore plays bigger than his size and has great balance and power to eat up YAC. This guy is doing his homework and taking his draft prep seriously. Very impressive.

If you going all in on Fields I'd move up to the 4th and grab nabors if not I'd evaluate Odunze or the other LSU WR at 9. Fields needs options.

If we don't trade the #1, I believe he'll still be there at #9. But we'll know for sure by end of Feb or early March what the plans are... I'm in the trade Fields camp for now but I'm not opposed to trading #1 for a boat load of future assets in favor of drafting MHJr, a LT, DE or NT, TE, and other needs to compete for a while.

With all the Caleb Williams "Hype" What some don't contemplate is the fact that GM Poles may just swing for the fences and draft MHJ and if Rome happens to fall to the number 9 pick he may also be drafted by the Bears everyone keeps talking about resetting the quarterback contract, but I'm now thinking that Poles May just want 2 potential number one wr. that are on rookie contracts so when DJ Moore contract is up he can easily move on from him and have these youngsters take over. He also may think that he can find similar Talent at the defensive and offensive line in the second round. Therefore his Focus can be best player available in the first round.

Odunze is proba ly the 3rd best wr in this draft. But there is a huge difference between marvin Harrison and malik nabers and him. He is more of a really distant 3rd in my eyes. I'd trade back if he's the best wr available.

This guy would be a mistake. He’s going to be a bust. The Bears should go with Malik Nabers instead. Watch the film between the two of them. Nabers constantly SEPARATES from players. Odunze struggles to do that.

@@Dom2.0 I agree. I, personally, am not a fan of picking a WR at #9 unless somehow Nabers is on the board still. I think he’s a special talent that would be hard to pass up. I think the Bears would be better off going after TE Bowers to not only establish some more size in the passing game, but you would get a pretty decent blocker as well. If they keep Kmet, the Bears could be a major passing threat (especially short field) adding Bowers on the other side. Every defense would be forced to play man coverage. There would be a lot of one on one opportunities when you’re pulling LBs to defend two TEs. I would love if the Bears got Bowers & pursued someone like Mike Evans to add some size at the WR position. If they trade JF, they could easily get a 2nd rounder (perhaps an additional late Rd pick too) & focus on the DE & OL needs for those middle/later rounds.
@@yuhbtwway more talented and productive than Johnson. Odunze is a smooth route runner with size and contested catch ability, which is what we need to compliment Moore.
