@BANDMAID - Zábava
The Maids can play any style. Band Maid doesn't play a genre, Band Maid IS a genre.
The Dragon Cries was a calibration with Tony Visconti, known for his work with David Bowie and in 2022 *BAND-MAID* met up with Tony in New York and performed this song live.
I don't have a problem with it. Collaborations are good for growth.
👍👍👍👍👍
Dragons, a poignant commentary of the sad, self-inflicted current state of the world, is a great plunge into the bluesy rock style given to us by Hendrix and others. Heard live (and without the overly compressed mix), the song jumps from the souls of the members and into our minds as a warning. Let's all heed that warning and support each other and our home planet! Thx, B-Line!
For me Hendrix vibe!
There is nothing more satisfying than being loved by our maids.
The Official Music Video of Bestie. Some don't like- The white outfits and the fact that it is a slow more poppy ballad. If it means that they achieve World Domination- I'm in. A little compromise shows maturity.
I'm with you dude this is one of my favorites as well. Full disclosure however: that is pretty much most of their songs I have never seen any band so prolific but no fillers or weak sisters.
But since you love this song I'll give a few more like it or a t least somewhat similar:
- Manners
- Chemical Reaction
- Clang
- Turn me on
Theres more but thats a start
Kanami's guitar sings to my ears in this song and it is great. I love your reaction as it is what I also think. Great reaction.
As to Bestie, I think it is a great song and more radio friendly than most of their songs. If that makes the band more popular than they are already I am all for it. I can see that song being a big radio hit for them and to make them even better and more popular than they are. It is all right to try new things every once in a while. It is not like they have not ever done slower songs before so I do not see the big deal. It is a great song and to collab with the guy from Incubus is good as Incubus is a great band also.
Thanks for your reaction to Band-Maid’s The Dragon Cries. While the video is disturbing, which is intended, the music is amongst their best with the blues feel and excellent arrangement. And, unlike other groups Band-Maid doesn’t preach but are making a valid comment.
Love this new song and video! Great video, Jimmy 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thank you so much Lindsay!!!
Great protest song released just as the world was crashing a couple of years ago.

I think your analysis, including the video, is correct. If we turn away from the reality we do not want to see, there will be no improvement or progress. We want a peaceful life and a safe environment. We should not allow the tyranny of a few powerful people and corporations. Isn't now the time to think seriously about this? I hope that BAND-MAID's desire for peace will spread throughout the world.
I want to thank you for a spot on comment. I have been following Band-Maid since 2014 and Miku Kobato and Band-Maid has always look to love and world peace. Their connection with each other and all the Masters and Princesses are no exception. We as human beings are destroying this world and the corruption in the world.. Oh my. Thanks for the great comment.
@@CAPTCHAZ Thank you for your reply. One person can't do anything, but I think the first step is for many people to become aware of the situation. Thank you so much for loving BAND-MAID.
Lyrics by Tom Kenney, so not Miku authored. That might be part of what rubs some folks the wrong way. I would like to hear Miku's take on the subject matter in either Japanese or English or both.
Don't Let Me Down would have been my choice. It is a heavier song and quite good. Don't play it if kids are present though. The lyrics are spicy to say the least.
That will be in the next BAND-MAID video!! Stay tuned! 🔥
so bluesy song
I'm a fool. I listened to this yrs ago. Didn't leave an impression on me either + or -. I can't just listen to a BandMaid song once or twice. I used to dislke Hate? and now I think I was having some neurological issues. So that being said I like this song. I like protest songs. Love RATM and Voice of Bacophet (Indonesian females singing about real problems). So Im down with this.
I like the song, it's a mid tempo bluesy song. Some people think the song and video are "political" - and those are the climate change deniers in part. I don't see how anyone can begrudge the maids one song that dwells on serious problems. Some also have a tendency only to like very fast and hard songs. I also don't get that, since variety only enhances the effect of all of their music. Do I prefer their more positive and uplifting songs? Sure - but I also like variety.
SPOT ON!!! 🔥
This song has probably caused more division among fans than any other. I think it's OK, but many just flat out hate it because it's overproduced and it's a downer of a song.
I feel the same way!! While I love it personally, I understand other people have opinions!
A good performance, but not one of my favorites. 🖖❤
Great music. Just need Miku to write new lyrics and do a new MV!
"Flying High" is better. Similar style. Sung in Japanese. No video.
That and I feel that Manners is also in a similar vein, just with the Band-Maid vibe.
Love the song, just not the video. I don't need the "We are destroying the planet" vibes, have to hear it everywhere else.
That’s fair!!
@@BottomLineWMCX Live, this song rocks!
WHAAAAAT?? The Dragon Cries???? Their most depressing video......figures it was produced by a dried up typical doom & gloom liberal New York producer. It's a good song if you don't watch it.....the only Band-Maid music video that gets a thumbs down for me.
Their only dud, imo. Video is depressing, makes no sense, vocals are too produced. The live is much better, but still not great.
Song is boring as the day is long. You can clearly hear Visconti's influence in the music. Sorry, but this is definitely one of their worst songs.
Hey, you have the right to your opinion! I appreciate you watching anyway! 🙏🏼
@@BottomLineWMCX Don't get me wrong. I love Band-Maid. And I've also enjoyed and given thumbs up to all your past B-M reaction videos. But for some reason, I just can't stand this song. Anyway, I look forward to your next B-M reaction vid. Cheers!
