I'm neither Democrat nor Republican, I try to vote for the person who's most qualified for the office they're running for and that seems to have the best ideas. What I don't respect is someone who, if he genuinely loved this country, would have accepted the results of the election in 2020 and conceded, as Al Gore did in 2000. You may remember Al Gore? If there's anyone who would have had ample reason to run around the country screaming he got cheated, it was him. There's a right way and a wrong way to accept an election loss, and for the first time in American history, we saw the wrong way.

This select committee is actually doing the Republican Party a huge favour (yes I am a Brit). It's showing that there are straight, honest, decent, honourable people still in there despite the Trump ghastliness. Good. Every good government needs a good opposition. Trump wasn't, isn't, either.
