Van costs more than Indian customer expectations. Same van arround 20 Lacs will make wonders as campers. Readymade campers from 20+30 Lacs will be a great initiative by Force.

Nice informative video. Thanks bro for such detailed dimensions. It's really difficult to get dimensions of vehicle while we plan for campervan.
I have a separate query, what are your thoughts on building campervan on a truck (MDT trucks like BharatBenz 1217 or Ashok Leylan 1415HE).
Unless you have a big family I suggest not to use truck as base platform mainly cos cost would be higher, toll would be higher, needs heavy license, might have troubles in narrow streets, restrictions in municipal roads, will jerk very much unless the rear wheels have some weight above it to keep it steady etc
But of course on the bright side the living area won't be cramped and will be comfortable but if you are building build in such a way that living box and driving area is separate and both can be locked to deny access so during servicing no need to worry about living area being exposed at mercy of strangers and the cabover platforms would allow this
Big vehicles means big comfort and big difficulties
Correct. Difficulties can be greater, depending on the length of vehicle we choose, but cost seems to be at par with Urbania or similar kind of built, at least in terms of Ex-showrrom prices. I don't know about its insurance and registration costs of a truck as campervan. Yes I agree toll is also higher.

Why do u want the height of window
Actually I am in Norway, and I have seen few camper vans in Norway also, and making some rough sketches of arrangement inside with the height of the cabinets etc. from here I can not get all these details, that's why I asked, if you have this dimensions with you,.

But in Urbania the costs would be very prohibitive since the longest version of it which is best for caravan is nearly 33+ lakhs then modification costs extra but the same wheelbase delivery van is of nearly 17-19 lakhs which allows a decent modification making total costs under 40-50 lakhs

@@FirstIndianCamper oh ok due to the small windows and metal covered body in many campers I've seen I was in misconception that they were delivery vans as base platform which they cut out places for windows thanks for the information sir❤️

@@FirstIndianCamper the vehicle is no different than Ford Transit or mercedes sprinter or eve VW crafter , so most of these have ready-made furniture , appliances,ac's ( dometik) underbody grey and black water tanks , obivously we'll then move on to replacing them by Indian-made eq.
