I am Brazilian and I thought it was funny the foreigners here in the comments judging which one danced better and choosing the pink one. In case you don't know "the soul of samba" is mainly on the feet... so the one that shine out the most was the blue one, but they all danced very well
Obrigada!!!! ,as pessoas fodem muito, i bet none of this people in the comments know how to dance properly. they were having fun which is important
Dance is an expressive artform. I believe who I feel dances "best" is based on my own personal taste and what's appealing to my eyes. I'm not Brazilian, a dance "expert", nor do I care about techniques but I can definitely give my subjective opinion on what I like. No judgment... I liked the ladies in pink and blue best.😊
Foreigners 😁😁😁😁🤣🤣😂😂
@@10meme11 cool. But someone who knows about math can give a better explained opinion on math.A brazilian knows who dances better at samba.
@@nemo320 cool. No "But"...🤷🏾♀️
I'm Brazilian and I'm shocked to see the bunch of negative comments from American people 🤦🏽♀️. Recalque!
Loved the dance 💃🏻

Lol they’re the one to talk with no culture 😄
I am a professional dancer from Cuba and the girls on his video are awesome!!! All the negatives comments here are from people with jealousy. Not all samba performances have to be exactly like the carnaval of Rio!! Please, each dancer is unique and this is the beauty of it!
Seriously. Thank you! I'm an Italian-Sicilian-Algerian blood American nurse who teaches Zumba on the side and LOVE all genres or music and dance, and even more so, love seeing every one express themselves differently as the unique we all are! It's SO sad how ignorant and arrogant people are. I'm "white" with thick golden "black" coarse hair and have "better rhythm" then some Hispanics I see, some "Blacks" can't dance reggae, some Puerto Ricans who can't do Reggaeton...so forth and so on. Italians never mock non Italians who order "pizza" from Dominoes, try our vino, pronouns italian words wrong, go to our operas, etc. It's SO bad. Thank you for chiming in here on that, and thank you for your maturity!
Como estás la ditadura?
Obataladance Make your words as
mine! All the girls are fantastic.
Well so why the video is called brazilian samba if its supposed to be different from a brazilian samba. Cheers from a professional dancer and phisical educator from Leblon, RJ , Brasil. ;)
Obataladance period
Wow, girl in blue, I'm drawn to her. The way she moves is free flowing and mesmerizing.
Also, her smile appears genuine.
😂😂😂
I agree. She got my attention
The choreographer is Brazilian and three of the dancers are also Brazilian!
Wooooah
It's not Silvi Milans is it? Looks very like her chorry.
All of these comments make me scared to be a beginner dance student. I assume everyone making an ugly comment can do waaaaaay better? What a bunch of jerks, hiding behind their computer screens. Obviously these girls arent native brasileiras, it's SAN DIEGO! They did way better than I've ever done. Well done ladies and eff the haters! Keep up the good work
Rachel Zendejas Well said.
’m Brazilian and trust me!!! They are trying their best and instead criticise them, they should be happy that they like our culture and are having a great time. Some Brazilian people are just idiots
No, not everyone with a negative opinion thinks they can do better. Why do you think some of us watch these videos? We watch to see people do things we can't. But when someone does something that we find to be distracting, or detracts from an experience, why should we stay silent and not voice an opinion? Sure, some comments are rude, but many of those 'rude comments' have valid points. The samba is a body dance, meaning it's meant to show off the liveliness, beauty and enthusiasm of the dancers. The lady in red is the biggest target in the comments from what I have seen. And yes, she does deserve some criticism. She was not as energetic as the rest. She was often a half step or at times a full step behind her fellow dancers, and when it comes to synchronized dancing, to a person who can spot the disparity in timing, it can seriously take away from the enjoyment. Am I personally expecting perfection? No, of course not. I can't dance to save my life. I watch these videos because I like seeing these things. But that doesn't mean I can't critique it. If people who can't do something were to never be allowed to have an opinion on something, I can guarantee so many TV shows would vanish. Sports channels would vanish as announcers and commentators wouldn't exist in enough numbers, reporters would be few and far between (not too broken up about that, the news these days is the same broken record from all sides of the political spectrum, and I wish they'd all shut up). My point is, this whole notion of 'If you can't do it, you shouldn't say anything' is ridiculous. Oh, someone critiqued someone and said they were terrible at it. Horrid person, how dare they?! It would be worse to have a person who is god awful at something be told they're amazing, then go on believing they really are only to be disappointed at every turn because they were lied to about how awful they really were. The girl in red may have been trying, but she threw off much of the visual rhythm, and her movements seemed to be lackluster and not very coordinated. My mind pays very close attention to motion, as I have a very acute spacial awareness and high levels of coordination, so I notice limb movements, patterns, rhythms, and the various shifts and differences in said patterns and rhythms. I pay a ridiculous amount of attention to them because it bothers me when a rhythm is off. Her rhythm was very much off, which ruined the enjoyment every time I focused on her, which was often.
Dejame Ser Aw I know this comments old bit of u havnt taken dance yet don’t be scared. I was scared to but being in dance class is so different then seein you type comments. Normally dance students are motivating each other
Lol all of a sudden everyone's a dance or samba expert
In my opinion, they're great, it's not perfect (still really good, thought) but, hey, at least they got the music and dance right, and that's waaay more than many foreigners I saw (I literally saw a video were a couple was dancing rumba with a music from gypsy kings and the title of the video said samba; so, yeah...)

Oui
You love the color or the girl's dancing?
I love them ALL
I wish there was a job where I could wear one of those outfits everyday.
Dee Joy there is..cleaning my house lol
patrick merrick lol alright. You have to provide the outfit.
D Lo i do! i am a dancer on a brazilian show and i have to wear a costume like that and dance samba eeeeeeevery day. i love it
Those outfits hurt really bad when we use it for a long time, they cut the skin, the shoes make you bleed sometimes, the head piece it's heavy, but when we do it and love to dance Samba that doesn't matter !!
D Lo u can it's called exotic stripping
Zahrah Violet I was getting really sad reading all of these comments until I got to yours ❤ it appears that there are still good people on earth
(Acredite, acontece bastante)

I’m an American here sorry to all the Brazilians for some of the Americans comments. seeing dancing like this and the over all vibe makes me wish I grew up in Brazil ❤️
do not worry! It's great to know that you like our Culture♥️♥️♥️
They are all gorgeous and wonderful dancers.
the one with the pink feathers has the BEST body and BEST dance skills hands down!! bravo
truth betold best body...pink. not best dancer ... myb blue?
Cause Effect nah I’d say either pink or dark green
Body doesnt impact on the way you dance.
i mean not that the body matters,
also the woman in blue is doing it best, because she’s doing it correctly
this is coming from a brazilian btw 🙃
Y'all love criticizing but i bet none of you can't make one of their steps.
Yes I can!
If only those steps were samba... Brazilian speaking, I've never seen this dance. That's not samba.
Yes i can, look we criticize them so they can improve if they're are going to dance my cultural dance they need to learn it right
Yes I can I'm 15 and started just learn to dance for soccer
@@user-ih7sp6kg2v you are Brazilian??
They are all wonderful dancers! I love Brazilian cultures! 😍🇧🇷🇧🇷
To samba, you need to have your body roll with you and utilize your weight. The one in pink is the only one who seems to do it right. her upper body is still and strong as it should be. The movement coming from waist down.
+BrownEyedBeauty831 Where did you know how to explain to have your body roll with you and utilize your weight?
the blue one?
thats the instructor
@@nicomelgares The blue one dances better than the others.
Exactly what I first thought. The one in the pink is the best dancer.
Most people like pink because she looks like an authentic samba dancer, curvy body just like the dancers in Rio. However, the blue one had the best rhythm.
From my Brazilian point of view: AWESOME!! You girls killed it! Beautiful, gracious, perfect! 😍🇧🇷 And is very nice to see something so especific from our culture being performed so well outside 💖
That was amazing!
All the colors and the rhythm of each dancer was excellent
I can't wait to visit Brazil and see an actual Carnivalle
English:
I am Brazilian and and I had never seen a samba choreography (yes) my grandfather is German and my grandmother is italian, I think they tried to create me with a more European than Latin soul
But as I always showed a intense love for the culture of Mexico, I ended up coming to see a traditional choreography from Brazil, It is not what I imagined but it is really danceable
Good job
Bom trabalho
Pink and blue are very good. They both have strengths and weakness but over all I was very impressed. It was hard for me to give attention to the others cause my eyes kept going back to them. But pinks legs are sexiest to me. Brazilian samba dancers usually have thick lower bodies.
I just love Brazilian samba dancing and batucadas! Awesome job, ladies!
Phenomenal energy and beautiful smiles….work, ladies!!! ❤️

The blue one kills it🔥
This made me smile, thanks dancers!
These girls are Legend dancer
Dancing on heels😱
You all are too talented
So crazy they can dance so well in heels 😮 It's hypnotizing to watch!
I can barely walk in heels, so this is incredibly impressive!
so many jugdemental comments. I bet 98% of you couldn't even dance samba for 2 minutes. Yes the girl in red is pale and skinny, so am I. At least she smiles and tries her best. Duh!
Constanze Health & Happiness Yeah that's what i was thinking as well. I wish people didn't always point out the pale skin or that "theyre white they can't dance well". It gets real annoying hearing that. They should be critiquing the dance not the skin or ethnicity.
You just said it. You're "white"....that's why you are open to people outside your own. We embrace others. So glad to be of a culture (italian american) that loves all. Such ignorance and arrogance.
Tries her best? Did she though? She was at least half a step if not a full step behind the majority of the time. So what if people can't dance the samba. "Oh, you can't do this thing, so you can't have a negative opinion on it." Get off your moral high horse, it makes you look like an idiot, and an ass. "Oh look at me guys, I'm nicer than you. Where's my cookie and gold star for being better than all of you?" Get over yourself. If everyone who couldn't do something wasn't allowed to have an opinion on it, there would be so many less things in the world than there are now. So few sportscasters, announcers, TV show hosts, Olympic judges, sport event commenters, reporters, etc. Famous figures like Ellen DeGenerate, excuse me, DeGeneres, Fucker Carlson, er Tucker Carlson.. so on and so forth, would not exist. So, why not get your head out of your ass, it's probably pretty dark in there. Pull your head out and get a nice healthy breath of reality, and some fresh air, not your own hot air.
Crazy, I think the red girl is the most attractive. Pale looks really good on some girls... I don't get the insulting comments either.
Bet she's thin from dancing not anorexia.

Simply beautiful!!!!!! .... All of you!
Awesome job!
The pink girl is the best dancer , she has a perfect plasticity in her moves and the most appropriate body type for this kind of dance. The others are okay.
She is amazing!
She's very good and her build is just right. The girl in the green, yellow and white head-dress is just too skinny, doesn't look right.
Blue was best
I agree with you! The one in pink is the best, even in her posture!
That's because she's a past instructor, read the description. Presumably, the rest are students

The girl in pink is an absolute stunner! She`s totally engaging, and I can`t look at the others, all beautiful as they are! The music is fantastic, esp from 1 min onwards as it builds up a real temperature, then that wooden rubbing instrument and cowbell. I don`t think I`ll see better than this. That gorgeous girl in pink is the making of this video! Such a body, and what an awesome Samba dancer! Who is she??? My love to her, and an ocean of thanx! I`m besotted, in love! Hope she reads this, she`ll laugh, but I don`t care! x

I was curious about the number of negative comments being made by Americans or foreigners mentioned by the people who proclaimed themselves as Brazilian in the comment section. So after scrolling down for a while, I noticed that even though some people had opinions as to who was a better dancer, most comments were generally positive despite the degree of negative comments these "Brazilians" were making it out to be.
Ironically, a good portion of "negative comments" observed came in the form of passive-aggressiveness from said proclaimed "Brazilian" comments that were pointing fingers at others despite lack of evidence to support the claim.
Bravo, I love the part when they dance in pairs ,and go around in a circle that's so cute, such lovely ladies 💜
They dance so cool I don’t know anything about this type of dancing so I just watch and enjoy
Adorei
The one in the blue is having the time of her life!
I do agree the lady in pink did the best but I think everyone there did great!!
Maravilhosas✨👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Simply WOW what a way to get up on Friday or any day for that matter.
WOW!! AMAZING! I guess Brazil, Puerto Rico and Cuba are the ONLY Latins who still show their African roots in dances and Music. Like for African Culture!
the dance comes from Europe sorry to burst your bubble the costumes are the only African part of the dance as they sexualize everything in dances
@@covfefe1787 The dance has its origins in the Angolan "Umbigada" a dance practiced in nuptial rituals. Samba is a much faster version of it. The name comes from "Semba", a Bantu word that means "from the heart"
@@covfefe1787 Lmaooo don't mske thid about african culture when this is about brazilian culture. And no, not every Brazilian has african roots, many of them have european
Will M the dance is a blend drums and that type of dancing comes from Spain and Sardinia Italy similar dances and festivals occur in Poland Czech Republic Russia so on and so forth samba is a mix of different cultures no one is denying Africa has culture or it had influence but samba isn’t in African in origin it’s european the nudeness is African
Covfefe uhhhhh honey no😂 samba is an Afro Brazilian dance with African roots and the word samba like the other person mentioned to you derives from the Angolan term “semba” and when the Africans came to Brazil by the Portuguese the Africans bought traditions and dances with them that led to the Brazilian dance samba and they made more Afro Brazilian dances and culture as well that’s not the only one and yes Brazilian is influenced by the native , Portuguese , and African culture but mostly African because the Africans that went to Brazil made other things like , Jongo , Lundu , batuque, capeoria, and even a religion called candomblé so yea there’s sum factual information for you 😬💯
