- A ridiculous exercise to brew one bottle of beer, with everything done in the bottle itself.
Pointless? Yes. Stupid? Quite possibly.
I semi-successfully manage to make a drinkable bottle of beer, but unfortunately, not everything ever goes to plan when you try to operate outside the norm.....
This was a very good fun homebrewing project, that I did to fill in time whilst waiting for other brewing projects to 'happen'.
This sort of experimental home brewing is what keeps me thinking, and sometimes it's not all about just making crystal clear beer. Sometimes I venture into the hazy style.....

The hops likely caused the froth over. I had this happen to me once when alot of hop matter got into a bottle from not using a dry hop bag
Good point, I hadn't thought of that, it could have been hop creep. The only thing against that might be that it wasn't conditioning for an excessive amount of time, but I wouldn't rule it out.. 👍

Did you chill the bottle down to 1 or 2C before opening? I think that could have tamed it. Worth a repeat I think. Good fun anyway!
It was about 4c for a couple of days. Maybe -4 would have helped 😁
